Greenlast Hotel — Hotel in Pahang

We walked in at 9pm on a long weekend for a quick overnight stay on the way back to KL after an island vacation and so expectations were not high - at least we got a room! The room itself was very spacious for 4 pax (king bed + a single but dated carpet and fixtures. Bathroom was surprisingly updated and spacious - only complaint is the low water pressure. We got the front room on Level 2 which is directly above the restaurant/bar on Level 1. If you have a choice, ask for any floor beyond Level 2 as the karaoke music from the bar is audible when ppl sing. It was borderline bearable as long as no one was singing and can continue beyond 12am till about 1am. The reception did say that if too loud, can complain but I'm realistic enough to know you can't "shush" a bar when ppl are having a good time! 😅 Carpark not an issue. We were welcomed with open arms. Great place in the middle of the town. Easily access to parking. Extra info to all. The toiletries only have a shampoo, a bar soap and liquid body soap. No toothbrush. There is a bit of stain on the bedding. A bit old school on the air-conditioning but it's still perfectly functional. The toilet is clean. The hotel was actually next to high school. So sometimes there is club practice and you will hear the school band playing. The water dispenser on my level which is supposed to be cold is warm. And hot still hot. The water dispenser on the ground floor is broken. Only hot water can be used. And Girls the iron and iron board will be outside in the balcony. Overall just for sleeping it was...

Stayed for two nights. Our actual room got problem with aircond, so they changed us to a new room. Took an hour to check the air cond and decide for us to change our room. Lol we were tired, but need to wait in the hot room for an hour. Then, the new room was smaller, no windows, smaller bathroom and no sofa like our actual room. No refund or discount with the changes. The toilet bowl was not clean. Second night, I requested for extra pillow, also took an hour for them to send the pillow. While the staffs were doing nothing at that time. Need to call again only they send the pillow. Overall, the hotel location is good as not far from main attractions in Kuantan, but the hotel need to improve their hospitality...
