This review is for the bossโs hostel in kuantan (Seventh Heaven)
I had an absolutely horrendous experience at this accommodation. It's evident that the host couldn't care less about their guests' comfort. Firstly, having to retrieve the keys from another location before 8 pm is incredibly inconvenient, especially for those without a car. Communication with the host was virtually non-existent, and when they did reply, it was often unhelpful. The keys provided didn't even work, leaving me stranded outside. The directions provided were vague and confusing, making finding the place a nightmare.
As for the villa itself, it was disgustingly dirty. The so-called "swimming pool" was nothing more than a pit of leaves, completely devoid of water. The bedding was filthy, and I was eaten alive by mosquitoes due to the lack of any mosquito control measures. To top it all off, essentials like slippers, toothpaste, and toothbrushes were not provided, and the WiFi was unusable.
This has undoubtedly been the worst accommodation I've ever stayed in, bordering on fraudulent misrepresentation. Avoid...
ย ย ย Read moreI'm usually not a big fan of vegetarian food but this one is exceptional. Somewhere in a hidden location, they serve tasty modern and local cuisine and in all my visits, food is consistently delicious. It's so good you forget that all the ingredients are plant based. Risotto is creamy smooth like having porridge and fragrant with mushrooms. Satay taste exactly like Satay and the peanut gravy is so flavourful. Big Breakfast is huge and value for money. Avocado Buritto is nice too. Fried Noodles @ Mee Mamak is surprisingly good that it will put most Mamaks to shame and portion is huge. It's that good. Recommended drink for me is the Fruit Tea which is good for sharing. However it can be on the sweet side. Overall I dare say this is one of the best vegetarian joints in Kuantan. Only downside is it can be a bit pricey but you are rewarded with great taste and...
