OK but nearly had an issue, when i'm arrived, an old man posed as receptionist, tried to denied my booking even I'm paid through Agoda. My husband politely, explained and show payment info, but he insist him to call Agoda because he said, they don't received payment from Agoda, my husband said he can't do anything about that because he's already paid and Agoda just reply confirmation as usual. He's been around many country just by booking place to stay through Agoda, and it's doesn't make sense there will be a problem to booking place at Pangkor Island.The reception just add more sourly and tight face to us, clearly he try to chased us away but an old lady come to rescued,she grab the old man to the back door which is kitchen, I'm listening to their discussion at the kitchen that my husband name booking are available, he confidently came out without any shame change his statement, admit that our booking is available. I'm felt quite disappointed, because at first that man angryly said they don't now about our booking, even asked my husband to call Agoda to refund back the money to us. He want us to pay cash for the room because they don't received money from Agoda. I think,Its not our fault for this, but the lady try to fixed the situation with a nice chat, then the man tried to question about our booking, why we just 3 person booking for bigger room. I think he tried to change our room for a smaller one maybe to save the room for other walk in customer,so more cash money will flow in. Sadly, we pay through Agoda for bigger room price so why he tried to robbed us that way?I'm tried to cool my self just pretend OK, chatting nicely with that old lady, I explained that my 5 year old son love bigger room, that's why we'always booking a big room for vacation. She dismissed that old man and pretend to being nice and understanding with me. She said just to sharing info, that maybe better next time just booking directly from them because Agoda own them nearly RM20, 000.I politely said, I didn't know about that because nowadays, we just booking through Agoda or other apps, because its easy, fast and trusted for vacation, we don't know personally any hotel or place here, we didn't have time to find it manually one by one through Internet, Agoda and app just the best way. She just ok-ok. Next day my other friend, a single mother with 2 small child just being treat the same, but more harshly, this time the old lady strictly asked her to call Agoda about the booking, even she paid it, the old lady had gave her room to other walk in customer(she supposedly check in with us but her child not feeling well, so she postponed to the next day, but paid through Agoda) because she not came in yesterday. So my friend just play along, she call Agoda for that day refund and just check in to other hotel. I'm feeling bad and sad, it ruined my vacation mood. Its not OK to treat people this way,why this place not just cancel their deal with Agoda?We, customer can't or hold any responsibility to you OYO people, don't solved your problem this way, We paid, real money how can you ask us to cancel from Agoda and paying cash to check in? Did you know, some people patiently planning to save money a year,just baby step by step? First paying to Agoda, the next month other expanses and so on, just to take their children for vacation? So sad and feel bad about this selfish, unhearted people. Liar, no chanel TV no wireless. The room not so good, old setting with poorly old fashion furniture, so many mosquito and ants.Its not good as picture in Agoda. Where are your guys halal haram sense? Never set foot to this place again😭. Be careful others, don't been cheated by them, stop booking them from Agoda or other app if you don't have spare money coming here or just enough to spend here, because they just don't care about others...

I recently had the displeasure of staying at Ombak Inn OYO 44084, also known as Ombak Inn Chalet, and my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this hotel lacked basic professionalism and customer service. The receptionist's rude behavior and the chaotic booking process left me with a bitter taste in my mouth.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a receptionist who seemed disinterested and unhelpful. She dismissively informed us that our booking was not in the system, even though we had made our reservation and paid for it in full two months prior to our trip. Instead of offering any assistance or trying to find a solution, she simply shrugged us off and implied that it was our fault.
The fact that we were a group of seven people made the situation even more challenging. Instead of making an effort to accommodate us or assist in finding an alternative solution, the receptionist seemed more concerned with getting us out of her sight. We were left stranded and forced to scramble for another hotel at the last minute, despite having already made a reservation and paid well in advance.
The lack of professionalism and empathy displayed by the receptionist at Ombak Inn OYO 44084 is utterly unacceptable. As paying customers, we deserved better treatment and assistance in such a distressing situation. This experience left us feeling frustrated, disappointed, and inconvenienced, especially after the anticipation and excitement we had built up for our trip.
I cannot stress enough how disappointed I am with Ombak Inn OYO 44084. I strongly advise against choosing this hotel for your accommodation needs. The rude receptionist and the chaotic booking system are clear indicators of the lack of management and professionalism at this establishment. It is my sincere hope that no one else has to go through a similar ordeal and be treated with such disregard. The Mak cik seems like a conman please avoid this chalet.
