Pangkor Inn Chalet — Hotel in Pangkor Island

To be honest i thought that this place would be okay. But i was wrong because when i entered the room the floor was moist and dirty i had to mop it. And the wifi service couldn't be used. The toilet was small and they don't have water heater. The Aircond works well atleast theres one thing that i can thank for. The bed is okay but the pillows were not that comfortable at all. But if you want something basic and you're going with a group with a limited budget then why not. The walls can be heard next door so you can't really talk loud and you'll be hearing noises. Its a walking distance to the beach and theres activities there so its easy. They don't speak english , and if you want to eat theres a few shops on the side of the streets so you don't have to worry. Overall , i just wanted to say that I'm disappointed because i thought if the place is like that all they could do is to take cake of their cleanliness and everything...

Our experience stops at reservation. We were chased off by the owner / manager even before we arrived. Made 4 rooms reservation for coming Merdeka holiday, paid deposits and later on add in another 2 rooms. We asked the Manager/Owner's son by the name of Nukman if they want us to add on more deposit (in which we are willing to do so) but he said we don't need to, we could pay the remaining amount upon check in at the chalet. After few days he told us that the resort are fully occupied and they have to move the other 2 rooms to a nearby chalet which belongs to the same group but slightly away. After much ding a ling, the owner/Manager decided to throw us away before we even arrived. We stayed here after reading some positive reviews about Pangkor Inn Chalet. (Makes me wonder if we're even talking about the same place??) There wasn't much good to be said about the place. Very, very basic! The WiFi didn't work well in the room; the toilet was a swamp; and the bedding was threadbare. The air con worked well. The bed was comfortable enough, but the pillows were super lumpy. It was also noisy. My standards are low, but this place failed to clear even that low bar. Nobody there spoke any English, either. You get what you pay for. Next time...
