Must visit gem by Teluk Nipah. Away from city hassles, breezy environment, scrumptious meal and a hypnotizing sunset view. What a day !!! 🏖️🌬️❤️ Menus available for vegetarians too. Did not find alcohol in their menu. Best service by one of the staff, a jovial Malay man, was very attentive and guided us thoroughly on the suitable items for 4 pax. Price : RM 110+. We ordered :
PRAWN KAM HEONG - Prawns were fresh and succulent. Portion was generous for 2-4 pax. Had the exact kam heong taste. Medium spicy. Definitely a must try.
FISH SWEET & SOUR - Dish of the day 🔥🔥🔥 Fresh fish fillet coated with savoury sauce. Though portion was just nice for 4 pax, yet we wanted to repeat order. It was too good !!! No not spicy.
SEAFOOD FRIED RICE - Filled with prawns and squids. Portion was so generous we had to cancel one white rice portion in the package. Topped with papadums. Not spicy.
MIX VEGE - Different vegetables + shiitake mushroom + black fungus + oyster sauce + fried onions (topping) = Why Not 🔥
DEEP FRIED ENOKI MUSHROOM - Fried on the spot. Good try.
Basic drinks - Teh O Ais, Limau...
Food: Tomyum instant noodle: Surprisingly alot of seafood inside. They changed the squids into fish fillets because they ran out of squid. The taste is spicy and nice as it was raining when we were dining
Nyonya style prawns with rice: I think this is a normal dish, not spicy. It is supposed to be a bit tangy and spicy but it was nothing to shout about. Could be improved.. The prawns were fried first, which made it very difficult to eat.
Crispy fried prawns: This was super delicious, the prawns were deep fried perfectly but it was very small. Was quite shocked to see the prawns to be super small but they managed to make it very tasty.
Crispy fried mushrooms: This is freshly made and you can taste the crunchiness in every bite. Superb.
Atmosphere: Since it was raining, everything seemed quite dirty, even the table cloths were wet and dirty but still managable. The sink is a bit dirty too..
Price: Surprisingly expensive but they serve big portions of food so it’s justified. Just the taste needs to...
Read moreNipah Deli is located at the Coral Beach front and the ambiance is just inviting. There are lots of chairs and tables placed on the sand outside the cafe. The big trees hover over the place providing shade and cooling effect. My son and I found this place as our host in Nipah Guesthouse told us about it. We had a lot of food here and one portion of the main dish is normally enough for two persons. Most of the guests here are the Europeans/Caucasian. But of course, there are locals, too. The staff here are friendly and are most helpful in assisting us to pick on the menu. I love it here and it is so relaxing and comfortable just sitting here and watching the sun sets. I would definitely...
