Hotel Jannah Bertam Kepala Batas — Hotel in Penang

For a budget hotel, this is very good place to rest the night. I got a windowless Queen-bed room, but don't get me wrong. Room is very clean air-conditioned. Bed and pillows are comfy enough. They have spot for clothes hangers, small cabinet, boiler kettle, small bottles of drinking water, clean enough restroom with water-heated shower. They also have remote-controlled small TV set too. Those are more than what I expected for cheap!

Staffs are very friendly, always with a smile on. They made sure I got my room right, and reminded me of the pay-parking charges and have it done for me so that I won't get a ticket by the parking inspector. If I have to get a budget hotel in this area, I'll give them a call again...

Only one of the male staff whom was on duty at the reception area on Hari Raya evening (5/6/19) , that is when we checked in, had a friendly personality. We booked a family room and a deluxe room. Family room with window is not sound proof, bathroom had lot of hair, tray with glasses and mugs was dusty. There wasn’t an ‘over the sink stand’ at the bathroom to keep toothbrushes and toothpaste.
