Restoran Muhammad Loh stands out as the only Chinese Muslim restaurant in Kepala Batas or Bertam, making it a unique dining option in the area.
Upon arrival, we noticed that all the staff were local Malays. The menu stays true to its Chinese roots, offering a variety of authentic dishes.
We tried the Shark Fin soup, which, although an imitation, was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. We enjoyed it so much that we finished it quickly. It would have been even better with some black vinegar.
The other dishes were equally delicious. No complaints on the taste front. However, the waiting time was a bit long since everything is cooked fresh. When the restaurant gets busy, you can expect even longer waits.
Parking is conveniently available right in front of the restaurant, and so far, it hasn’t been an issue.
Overall, Restoran Muhammad Loh is a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy Chinese Muslim cuisine in a cozy and unique setting. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait...
Read moreCockroach infested. Baby Cockroaches keep on crawling from underneath the table and surfacing on the round table top. total of two cockroaches came up before we decided to cancel order and leave the restaurant. Staff/waiter were also poor. When asked that there were cockroaches and waited for her to do something she didn’t do anything. When asked again, she still didn’t do anything and told us that it was because she was scared of cockroaches. She called another staff from the kitchen to kill the cockroach. The other staff came with bare hands and the cockroach crawled on his hands. he swiped the cockroach to the floor and stomped it until it died. He leaves the dead cockroach that he stomped underneath the table 😅😂😂 and went back to the kitchen. funny ass restaurant man don't...
Read moreMy lunch experience at this Bertam restaurant was most gratifying. With the establishment’s reputation preceding it, I was eager to sample their fare and was not disappointed.
My initial choice, the Lemon Chicken with Rice, was regrettably unavailable that day. Instead, I opted for the Sizzling Yee Mee and Salt Egg Chicken with Rice, both of which were exceptionally palatable.
An engaging highlight was when an elderly couple seated nearby generously offered a taste of their Shark Fin Soup, which was unexpectedly delightful. It’s a dish I am keen to order upon my return.
The service was efficient and the staff, amiable. My next visit will certainly include the Lemon Chicken, completing what has already been a thoroughly enjoyable...
