Seam Dee Cafe — Restaurant in Penang

Specialized in Thai cuisine with rare dishes offered compared to other Thai restaurants (Example : Kerabu Telur Sotong).

Arrived at 8.30 pm, it was crowded (but managed to find a seat and table for 10 pax). The service depends on the crowd (I guess). We received daging masak merah when we almost finished our meal.

Plan the timing well is the key for happy dining.

Confusing menu list. Stated there for 5 person eating as it provides 5 plates of rice but then the dishes only enough for 2 persons. When asking why is so less as it will not enough for 5 persons? I ordered Siakap Steam Limau(very bland taste) Kerabu Sotong(why the kerabu sauce taste like chili sauce?) and Daging Bakar (taste like beef satay n the dipping sauce totally unacceptable)
