OYO 507 Aikka Hotel — Hotel in Penang

The building itself is secured. Lobby, hallway is decorated with old skol stuff. The deluxe room is spacious. The bed, restroom is very clean with nice fragrance. Around the area is accessible to mini mart, food, club and mall. Either you can walk, its safe i guess or easily can book grab car. Booked for 2D1N i think not enough, still wanting to sleep in a comfortable bed and nice view of the balcony. So comfy! When checking out, we met the owner. His nice and friendly. We took a groupie with him. Lastly, we did the pinning indicating from which country we came from! Overall the experience is wonderful! Glad to stay here. I selected this place partly due to express check in and included parking. Express check in turned out to be a slow process of communicating with someone via WhatsApp, taking pic of passport etc while standing on the street outside in the dark. Free parking meant park on the pavement outside the hotel. Also the area is very seedy and I was concerned about vehicle security. The only good thing was the room, which was worth the money. We stayed here for one night on stop over. Check in went smoothly, just had to whatsapp the number on the door and they quickly gave us easy instructions to access our key. The room was pretty big and very clean. It came with aircon and a hot shower. The only thing i missed was a water cooker, but that's not that big of a deal.
