Stayed in this hotel (which is not really listed as a hotel) for CNY. We liked the ambiance and decoration of the place. Rooms were spacious (Mango). Fadzli runs the place for the owner, and he was pretty helpful, polite and with a friendly customer service attitude. Things that we did not like and need attention are listed below:||||1. Cleanliness: they do not clean every day but they give you toilet paper (1 per time) and towels (body and hand) and water bottles on request. This is not nice. Firstly, they need to give 2 toilet rolls, and the towels can get changed (buy new ones) as these are pretty used now. Bigger size towels could be a nice upgrade of the current ones. ||2. No shoes in premises: We were told that no shoes or flip flops are to be worn inside the premises. This is a big no especially since we do not know the other guests, the cleaning regime and in general there are a lot of germs to keep your feet exposed. ||3. Spring clean - the bathroom, and bedrooms and all appliances require a thorough spring clean especially the Mango room that we stayed. Will not upload photos but have if the owner needs to see them of areas that have been cleaned for a loooong time! ||4. Breakfast: is very simple, could do with a few more options and for sure with some fresh milk for our coffee. ||5. pest control: we found a few cockroaches walking in the premises and small flies inside the room. Because the floor is grey and with spots (technique) you are not able to spot them very easily making you feel quite insecure on what else there is in the room.||||We would go again, as the decoration is nice and the experience was not that bad - however, I would expect the notes above to be acted upon. Please note that during CNY the area will be extremely loud as it is located in a residential and the neighbours are setting off fireworks at all times of the day. We have instances where we were waking up at 0030 and 0650 just because people were celebrating. Maybe take a few ear...
Read moreVisited Ipoh Senses back in end July while we were doing our road trip from KL-Terengganu-Belum-Ipoh. Thus Ipoh is our last stop before going home. This B&B just opened in May 2016 and thus still very new. The owner had invested a lot in making this corner house in a residential area into a beautiful and cosy 5 bedrooms B&B. We love the strategic location, which is near the Jusco and not too far away from town. Plus, there are a few dedicated space by the field next to the B&B for parking. If it is full, there are always space along the road side that you can park. It gives you a...
Read moreWill not recommend this place unless you staing only as couple for one night only . It's stuffy , have weird pool in room (the one we stayed ). We had a toddler and constantly afraid any of the kids will fall into the small pool in room that was fuller with pointy rocks for some reason. Felt like there was no one there to even ask assistance most of the time . Here was one guy taking care of it and he was not always there if any emergency would happen . So , yeah families with kids should steer clear for a comfy stay . Overall won't recommend even for...
