This place deserves 5 stars for scrumptious, delectable Nyonya food fare. You won't miss this shop as even the outside deco is very authentic. Back to the food, we had the assam fish slices which was the star dish and it wasn't too spicy which suited our palate. Pepes chicken was another worthy mention. Dishes this year: Butter Prawns, Steamed Egg, Mango Kerabu, Perut Ikan, Stir Fried Choy Sum, Steamed Fish, Assam Pork, Hu Ju Char and Chicken with ginger and onions.
Overall, I would highly recommend Bee Gaik Restaurant for all local and travellers who pass by this area in Ipoh Garden South.
