Dropped by for some quick lunch just before heading back to the Klang Valley. This place is a little hidden out of the main tourists haunts, but is seeked out by various non-local foodies (no) thanks to the prevalence of social media posts which sing about the quality of the roast meats offered here.
The main draw is of course the in-house char sieu or barbecued pork which was really good. Since it was still a weekday, I just took their lunch deal for the char sieu rice platter. The order came fairly quickly despite the huge throng or people who came earlier for the lunch break. It was a pleasant surprise as the portion of meat was almost double of what you would typically get from similar places here in the Klang Valley. They also added an entire soy braised egg to the rice platter. And the taste? It was really tender with copious melt-in-mouth texture in abundance. The house-made chilli dressing was very flavourful with just the right hint of garlic and sufficient spiciness. We also ordered the dry wonton noodles with the char sieu and it was very good as well.
We'll return again in the near future as our relatives from around here recommended the other roast meats as well. Highly recommended...

The staffs were not very helpful to service as they just look at you and walks off to do their work. One customer was nice enough to tell me that to order is at the front of the restaurant. He has ordered and now is waiting to collect his food. So I saw that pick up sign where he is standing and the lady inside (probably the lady boss) ask me what do I need. Got my food! Taste wise I wouldn't say great but the charsiew is indeed quite good but a little bit fat. The roasted pork is normal and a little fatty but the skin isn't crispy. Roast chicken they gave a generous portion quite okay. Plus points rice comes with cucumber, lettuce, coriander and spring onions. However rice is rather dry, no gravy or sauce. Just chilli sauce. Overall wasn't...
Read moreWe had an early lunch at this place for the first time. When you first walk in you are greeted by the delicious looking meats displayed for you to drool at.
The place is very clean, open spaced and with air-conditioning. Full table service and a service call button at each table. There is also a self-serve bottomless chicken broth/ soup station.
Our food came out reasonably quick and everything we had was tasty. We tried their famous Char siew (BBQ pork, so delicious), Roast pork (good but not the best), BBQ chicken (really good!), Sausage (tastes good but nothing great) and hard boiled eggs (runny in the middle...yum!) with noodles.
I highly recommend their Char siew...it's meaty with the right amount of fat, tasty marinade, soft and tender. We ordered only the quarter size which was not enough for 3 of us! Their BBQ chicken was also really...
