Ipoh Waterpark Manhattan Suites by IWH Suites — Hotel in Perak

The 3 bedroom- 2 bathroom unit was super clean, tastefully furnished & comfortable. Towels, shower gel & shampoo are provided. Basic kitchen utensils provided, dishwashing soap, plates, cutleries, mugs, but no bowls though. Light cooking is possible as there's an induction cooker, pan, microwave, fridge & water dispenser. ( this is really great, thank you). Lack of plug points so you have to alternate using the cooker & microwave. There's also a washing machine & drying rack on the balcony with quite a number of hangers. A word of caution- the balcony is not child friendly as it only has a short glass panel. The waterpark was an added bonus for the children. There's also an adult pool. Do bring proper swimming attire as they are quite strict on this. A security guard is always on hand to monitor the children on the high water slide. A good move by the management. 5 minutes walk away there's a family mart, zus coffee, mixue, a coffee- bakery, nasi kandar & a cafe serving Malay food if you don't feel like cooking. We had a lovely 4 nights stay, home away from home. However little touches from the owner like changing the batteries on the wall clock & the light bulb in the dining area, provide an extension in the kitchen, would be much much appreciated. Instructions for check in / out were clear. We will stay here again...

Easy instructions. Our unit was ground floor facing guards. Rooms were clean but no space to keep ur clothes or bags. No mirrors except in the toilets. Only head jump to toe wash was available, no cleaning products or oil salt pepper provided as advertised.however almost all others was available, washing machine, coway water dispenser, microwave and a hot pot. Rooms shd have at least a luggage stand or shelf and mirrors for convenience. The swing is to creaky and noisy. It shd be fixed or replaced with cosy sofa. Beds are a bit lower but still comfortable. Towels mostly were clean and comfortable, some had a smell but not too bad.swiming pool guards were not friendly and staring at swimmers. Dechaton swimwear sometimes were not allowed.pool and surroundings were nice. Visitors car park were given on higher floor even though a few floors had empty slots. This homestay is great value for money. The overall style is simple, cozy, and spotless. The highlight was the bunk bed in the second room — the kids immediately claimed it as their “base”! My mother really loved the peaceful surroundings, while I especially appreciated that there was always a security guard patrolling the pool area. If any adults or children broke the rules, they would immediately step in to stop them or give a warning. Parents can truly feel at ease letting their children play in the water here.

Before check-in, the host provided all the important information well in advance. The instructions on how to collect and return the keys were also very clear.

The only downside is that for families with multiple cars, aside from the one VIP parking space provided, the rest will need to figure out where to park when they return.
