Secret Recipe AEON Ipoh Station 18 Shopping Centre — Restaurant in Station 18

Shout out to Mr Lai at Secret Recipe AEON 18. It is my dad's birthday and was trying to get his favorite cake from the Greentown location. One hour before they were scheduled for delivery, they did not call me but told my parents that they didn't have the cake, and went ahead and canceled the order. Disappointing! I called Mr Lai at AEON to check on the availability and he went out of his way to give me updates once I placed my order to make sure that the order would go out on time to my dad. I recently visited and was disappointed with the service. I waited over 30 minutes for my mushroom soup and garlic bread. After asking about my order, it still took another 10 minutes (still haven't come yet, so i cancelled my order), while my family had already finished their meals.

I ordered an ice cream, which arrived promptly, but the free one that came with it took another half hour and only arrived after I reminded the staff.

There were only about 6-7 tables of customers in the restaurant, so the long wait times were very frustrating. I hope they can improve...

Saturday 7:30pm – I placed my food order, and it took almost an hour to arrive. The food was cold, and even the hot drinks were no longer hot. By the time the food came, I had already finished my drink.

The staff were unfriendly. Is it acceptable for a customer to ask a question, and the staff just walk past without even looking at the customer, let alone answering the question? When asked again, the staff responded rudely instead of simply answering politely.

This will definitely be my last time dining here. The service is absolutely terrible....
