Hotel Sri Sutra — Hotel in Petaling Jaya

The place is decent enough when referred to space and cleanliness. The hotel is just in the city will all most day tour destination at your vicinity and local markets at walkable distance. the famous Hanifa shopping centre is in the adjoining premises as well. ||||let me start with few noticeable moments:||1. the rooms were not booked as per our instructions, so had to make some efforts to make them understand, a lady named Anju even went to the extent of saying contact your tour operators and we cannot help... this was really depressing. Fortunately the Manager Mr. Shastri did look into the matter and has solved the issue in no time by allotting us the room at different floor. ||||2. bathroom too small with no separate soaps but with a glue labelled as "2 in 1" which means both soap and shampoo... which was a bit shocker but acceptable when compared to the price.||||3. Food: ohhh!!!!! the North Indian food was awesome both veg and non veg. unfortunately the food manager one Mr. Kiran was a very annoying character. he had no eagerness to help his customer make comfortable which is not acceptable in a hospitality industry. Check-in was smooth even though there was some miscommunication with the changed dates on Agoda. We booked a triple room for three adults. The room is small, has basic amenities, clean and comfortable, good enough for a short stay. No fridge in this room, so keep that in mind for a longer stay. 2nd floor has a common water dispenser. The free wi-fi is stable, and the TV has good channels. The shower and toilet function well. However there are some small things that could be maintained better. For instance there was a small leak on the toilet hose, some mildew on the shower curtains, the wallpaper was peeling off at some places, and there was no qibla direction provided.

Yes, the 3-star hotel looks decent. All the receptionist is female and available 24 hours. They are friendly and polite. Good job. The hotel is located near Petronas pump station with ATM Machine and Mesra shop. Got a Mamak restaurant nearby. Their teh tarik and roti canai are superb. Actually, plenty of local eateries and near Jaya Shopping Centre. A less crowded mall with cinema. I will make another review for details of JSC. What i want to highlight is safe for woman or solo traveler. The location itself and amenities. Quiet and having deep sleep every single night.
