We did not expect much about our trip but it turned out so damn Amazing! Hesitant at first to book at this hotel resort but after all the filtering it turned out to be the best deal for 3 nights 4 days all water villa with jacuzzi and dip pool, plus it is all inclussive and with free non motorized water sports. We preferred sunset villa but we booked sunrise villa since it was suddenly on flash sale in agoda, it was 3000 dirhams less! To our surprise when we checked in they gave us the Sunset villa and we did not even ask for it! Thank you so much! We loved our Sunset Villa! Our room was 825 Your view is the open sea and the villa they gave us can even view the sunrise from the stair deck plus we had an amazing morning view of #Dolphins jumping from the sea a lot of them passing by our villa it was mesmerizing, our hearts were filled with joy😍. Watching the sunset while sipping wine in our private pool was so relaxing, the moon is also beautiful at night as it reflects light to the sea and there where a lot of stars. The best time to do jacuzzi is at night as well, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful maldivian night sky full of stars as there is no roof above it, while on jacuzzi you can also still view the ocean there is an opening at the top of the bed headboard that is a smart design. You have total privacy if you'll stay on a sunset villa Because sunrise villas faces the island. Fishes constantly swimming under and around your water villa! During our stay We also saw a big raindbow over the island during our stay😍 About the food, it is all fine dining. No buffet. So if you dont like fine dining then it might be a disadvantage for you. The food was really good. There is 2 restaurants japanese cuisine and international, you should eat at the japanese restau atleast once, i love their nigiri, and at the main restau there starter baked tuna was my favorite, plus there service was exceptional, they were all very nice and accomodating but the stand outs where Miss Agra- our favorite female server, she's Awesome, she is so friendly and natural, we loved conversing with her, it felt like talking with a friend shes lovely and a real asset to the hotel. 5 stars for her. Our favorite male server is Mr Kasun-, he will make you feel like you are in a 5 star hotel restaurant, hes vibes and service, the way he takes orders and deliver food is outstanding, he wont miss a thing i even told him he gives off a 7 star hotel service vibe, i think he is suited for a much much higher position. And you'll get your very own buttler as well, our buttler was Mr Shiham, hes really nice but really shy and doesnt talk much, but we like him we did not bother him much as we like doing things on our own, your buttler will be the one to attend to all your needs. Mr Velu- we prefer the khandoli sky bar than the beach bar because of his excellent service, he is very friendly, accomodating and sweet, we always have a good chat with him, 5 stars for him. The highlight of our trip is in the divepoint, Oh my God where did you get your dive point staffs they even looked for us and called us from the beach shore to show us the manta rays! we really love them! You guys were the best 'Jinah' our diving instructor, 'Buti' we call him captain jack sparrow 😂 he accompanied my partner for a free snorkel to see the manta ray in the house reef, Nawaz our swim with the sharks speed boat captain😊, Ittan the youngest, and the sweet and kind small man who prepared our suits for scuba, i forgot hes name im sorry🙏, unforgettable experience with them we love them and even shed a tear as we waved good bye at the dive point while leaving the island on speed boat. We will never forget them. I get emotional just writing this review. Thank you guys at the divepoint! If you want to relax away from the crowd and want a feel of exclusivity and an intimate getaway for you and your partner this...
Read moreFrom the moment we decided to celebrate our honeymoon in the Maldives, Adaaran Prestige Vadoo was envisioned as the perfect opening chapter to our romantic escape. We arrived with eager anticipation, ready to immerse ourselves in the luxurious amenities we had heard so much about. However, what unfolded during our two-day, one-night stay was a bitter disappointment, a series of managerial lapses that left us feeling disrespected and utterly neglected. Our ordeal began immediately upon touching down. After a long journey, we were inexplicably forced to endure a four-hour wait at the airport. Despite possessing confirmed hotel vouchers, we received no credible explanation for this prolonged delay. What was meant to be a seamless transition into paradise became an exercise in frustrating uncertainty. Our scheduled 2:00 PM check-in was consequently pushed back by 45 agonizing minutes, significantly eating into our precious vacation time. While an upgrade from a sunrise to a sunset villa was offered as compensation for this initial mishap, it could not fully erase the sour taste of a welcome that was anything but prestigious. The true nadir of our experience, however, arrived on our second day, fundamentally shattering our plans and enjoyment. With our $800+ full-board package, we had meticulously planned to savor lunch at your esteemed Japanese restaurant—a reservation we had carefully made and subsequently confirmed with both our butler, Abdullah, and the reception desk. That morning, after breakfast, we re-confirmed our lunch booking. We were explicitly informed that, following the 12:30 PM ferry, another boat transfer was available at 5:00 PM. Crucially, as lunch was our final meal within the package and the restaurant only opened at 12:30 PM, we specifically requested to be allocated to the 5:00 PM boat to ensure we could comfortably enjoy our meal. We were assured this was arranged.Everything seemed settled, allowing us to relax and look forward to our final culinary experience at your resort. This tranquility was brutally interrupted around 12:00 PM when our butler, Abdullah, delivered the shocking news: the 5:00 PM boat had been abruptly canceled due to an insufficient number of departing guests. The next available transfer, we were told, was not until 8:00 PM. This was a last-minute bombshell, delivered just as our intended lunch time approached, leaving us in an impossible bind as we had another boat to catch later that night for our subsequent resort. With barely fifteen minutes to spare, we were forced to abandon our carefully planned Japanese lunch and hastily opt for the 12:30 PM boat. Realizing the predicament, our butler suggested we grab something from the restaurant as a replacement. What we received was an insulting gesture: a paltry two sandwiches, a handful of french fries, and juice. This meager offering was a stark, almost mocking, contrast to the curated Japanese dining experience we had paid for and eagerly anticipated. We departed Adaaran Prestige Vadoo not with cherished honeymoon memories, but with a profound sense of disappointment and the distinct feeling that we were neither respected nor valued as guests who had paid a significant sum for a premium experience. The lack of proactive communication, the last-minute operational changes, and the wholly inadequate compensation for a lost meal amounted to a significant betrayal of trust. Our honeymoon began with an unnecessary struggle and ended with unfulfilled expectations, a stark reminder that even in paradise, poor management can cast a long,...
Read moreWe loved our time here, but I've had trouble rating it. We stayed for an all inclusive five nights (food, drinks, accommodation and transfers). The water and beaches were absolutely stunning and it's only a 15 minute speed boat ride from Male, so your destination is so much closer than other resorts.
Our villa was quite a walk from the island, along a boardwalk that stretched out over the reef. It was probably 500 metres to our villa, and then it continued on for maybe another 100 metres further on. This is by no means a complaint, but when you have to walk this distance multiple times per day, it can become tiresome. I would have thought there would be more electric buggies to run guests back and forth, but it was almost impossible to get one, even if requested.
The villa was well equipped with stereo, coffee pod machine, fully stocked mini bar (included) that was restocked each day, plunge pool, and spa bath. It was clean and tidy, and was serviced twice a day, but it was showing its age. You could see where things had been repaired rather than replaced, the sun bed was broken (but functional) and the stairs from our porch into the water were rotting with the last 3 being dangerously slippery. I was told this was one of the first resorts in the Maldives to be built, and looking at how tired the villas look I can believe it.
We had our own butler too, but it's not what you might think when you hear that. She had 8 couples to look after and was run off her feet. She did her best but it wasn't exactly personal service. She also had a crossover of roles which made it extra challenging for her.
The staff really did their best and were friendly, welcoming and professional, although some things were lost in translation sometimes. We met some lovely people that worked there. There was only one staff member that didn't create a great impression on our arrival. As it seemed to be their role to meet and greet guests, they really need to work on their attitude.
Check in was a debacle and is an area that needs to be worked on. We sat at the airport waiting for an hour for the boat and other guests to arrive. It was hot and packed out, and directions and updates from the staff member were pretty minimal.
Once we arrived at the resort, we were greeted by the above mentioned staff member and then it took nearly 2 hours to be taken to our villa. There was very little communication and it was quite frustrating. It's a shame this was our introduction as it didn't set a great mood.
Overall, if you want privacy, this is a great location. There is no pressure to engage if you don't want to and as this is a couple's resort, most people kept to themselves anyway.
For the price paid, I expected the villas to be in a better state of repair. The food was really good at the main restaurant, but unfortunately, we never made it to the Japanese or Korean restaurant due to illness. Everything but some extra curricular activities was included in the price.
The snorkelling was fantastic and was like swimming in an aquarium. Overall, I'd recommend this place, but I did expect more...
