Mount View Apartments NOT FOR DAY USE — Hotel in Isle Mauritius

A great spot for visiting Port Louis, with a super friendly and helpful owner who was easy to communicate with. The apartment is spacious, and the huge rooftop terrace offers stunning views—perfect for relaxing. There’s a nice restaurant right next door and a supermarket within walking distance. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of appliances, including a stove, threre are two air conditioners, and a large bathroom with a washing machine. A big plus is the secure parking in the building.

A few downsides: the apartment is on the top floor with no elevator, which might be inconvenient for some. It could also use some renovation—some appliances weren’t working (like the bathtub/jacuzzi), and the cleanliness could be improved. With a bit of maintenance, it would be an...

Wir hatten sozusagen das kleine Penthouse mit (zwei!) Dachterrassen. Das Apartment ist gut ausgestattet und hat zwei getrennte Betten (kann man zur Not zusammenschieben), wenn man länger bleibt und gern ein Doppelbett hat. Kleine amerikanische Küche, ein Bad mit Dusche und Wirlpoolwanne, Sofa, Stühle, Tisch - alles da. Zwei Klimaanlagen kühlen den Raum auch recht schnell runter. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Unser Vermieter war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Blick über die Stadt und zu den Bergen ist toll, den erkauft man sich allerdings mit einigen Treppenstufen, was uns nicht störte. In der Nähe ist eine Bushaltestelle, so dass man auch schnell in der Stadt ist, falls man nicht weiter zu Fuß laufen will. Ansonsten sind es bis zum Central Market ca. 1,5 Km und somit ca. 20-30 min zu Fuß. Die Stadt erwacht in der Woche früh und das hört man dann allerdings auch. Am Wochenende ist es relativ ruhig. Ingesamt eine gute Unterkunft für Unternehmungen in der Stadt und dem Umland. Einziger Kritikpunkt. Bei unserem Besuch mangelte es etwas an warmem Wasser. War allerdings bei den Temperaturen ( ca. 30°) auch kein Problem. Wer nur ein paar Kleinigkeiten kaufen will ( Getränke, Knabberzeug, etc. ) im Erdgeschoss des Nebengebäudes ist ein kleiner...
