I rented this place for my dream vacation last week, and while my experience was overall good, this was mostly attributable to the efforts of Efrain, the house’s concierge, and not the house itself. Efrain was really a gem! He is attentive, dedicated and always going above and beyond to make your vacation experience a memorable one. He shops for you, runs errands, gets your coffee and freshly baked bread every morning and accommodates every request you make to keep you satisfied. If it was just based on him and his efforts, I would have given this house stay 5 starts, but the condition of the house is what made me rate this stay differently. To start with, all furniture, needs upgrading. The dining room chairs and living room sofas are old, stained and sink in when sitting - they are very uncomfortable. The same is true for the patio furniture - stained and the umbrellas seem unsafe- old and torn in some areas. As for the inside of the house, the air conditioning system does not work well. Some rooms are hot or have no A/C and others are super cold. The AC compressor on the lower level flooded the outside area of the first floor bedroom one night causing my son to almost fall. A couple of showers in the bedrooms overflow or have not enough water pressure. The patio doors have no screen doors so there are always a lot of flies inside of the house and over your food, and the master bedroom on the first floor has a mosquito infestation. We got bitten every night which at the end became a rather painful experience. The TVs do not work in any of the bedrooms and the WiFi is very spotty. If you are thinking of working from this place, good luck with that! The house is huge but has only one cleaning person who clearly works very hard to keep up with the work, but cleaning help seems understaffed. There is only one bedroom on the main floor, so all other bedrooms are on the second and third floor making it difficult for those with mobility issues to go up and down the stairs multiple times at day and adding to the challenge is the fact that there are no rails to hold on to. The view of the house is amazing but there is no direct access to the beach if you are looking for walking or swimming at the beach experience. And last, the chef recommended by the house was a great disappointment - be aware of those recommendations as well. I think this house requires a lot of work to command the prices they are charging for a stay and clearly in need of a makeover. If you are looking for a luxurious experience you may end up disappointed. Like a said earlier, it was Efraín who saved the day and compensated for all of the flaws founded...
Read moreWe had an AMAZING time at Casa Luna for my life partner’s 50th birthday party! Location is perfect! It’s next to Sunset Monalisa, which is rated the best sunset in Cabo, and close to a very nice hotel that has amazing views and all inclusive breakfast (recommended for Sunday brunch). Those are nice add on, but Casa Luna is the destination in itself. You will not want to leave this haven nestled in the best section of Cabo Bello with its own private rocky beach, infinity pool and the best views of Los Cabos Arch! Every room has a view, which is such a treat - so it’s easy to assign rooms to your group. The house fits a group of 20 very comfortably. And it has everything you will need during your Cabo stay. The staff is super nice and will cater to all your needs! Do not hesitate and book Casa Luna for your stay. Thank you Antonio, Adolfo and everyone else who made our...
