Casa Sofia B&B — Hotel in Chiapas

I enjoyed my stay here. I called ahead to ask about an early check-in, which was possible so I came. The place was sunny, everyone was in the courtyard, laughing and happy. The place felt so feminine and safe. I only stayed for one night but I can say that it was the best hostel in the city for me.

The staff was so welcoming and helpful in every way. They let me handwash some clothes. When I went out, it rained and they kindly got my clothes off the line for me and hung it in a dry place.

There was always hot water! I loved the shower there! The kitchen was very spacious and we'll equipped. The bed was warm at night and the hostel was quiet.

The only downside for me was that it was far from the local attractions so I walked a lot! And th bed could improve (it sagged and they need...

Stayed for 2 nights, the rooms are spacious and clean, the bed is super comfortable which is the first for our stays in Mexico. I couldn’t recommend enough, Sofia is amazing and so accommodating as are all the staff. There’s fresh fruit, yogurt, toast and coffee for breakfast 8-10, drinking water is available all day, the wifi is good and there’s plenty of space to sit out in the garden. I really enjoyed my 9 night stay here. Sofia and Alejandra are wonderful humans who make you feel like family immediately. There is a sense of home here and I slept so peacefully every night. The beds are soft and cozy and they provide you with a towel and laundry service (please tip them). There is also a fully equipped kitchen and complimentary coffee. I like the location as well!
