As much as I hate telling people my experience, here I am, we usually come to this place, we love the waffle extreme (as good as always) but we did try the Lola Mia, that was nothing near to be good, a lot of bread, the fries very greasy. the special chileaquiles are the boom, you have to ask for both sauces (red and green) Drinks… average, a lot of sugar on them, we got the water of the day, it was ok but too sweet, the gansito shake, they brought it out undrinkable, we asked the waiter to fixed and they got us something in the other side very watery, they got us very disappointed since we always got that one. Now let’s have the rest of the experience. We got at 4:26 pm, we wanted to order right away because we are in the same industry, they brought out the food in parts, first the waffle, 10 min after the Lola Mia and 15 min after the chileaquiles, of which in concerns because food has to come out at the same time. Server told us at 4:58 they were closing, and we felt rushed all time, waiter took of his apron at 5:03, we asked at 5:35 to get boxed up our food and they took over 15-20 min to realized and just because I have to asked twice. My girlfriend asked to get her phone to charge and we have to asked twice to get the phone and in the second time this guy twisted his eyes in front of me. Waiter service was horrible, can’t believe they work like this, like I said I work in the same industry and they are no excuses about not taking care of guests, and change hours because if you close at 5 and you want to leave at 5 you better start closing kitchen at 4:00 so you...

My way of eating can be hard to maintain while traveling.
But at La Casa De Las Lolas, I got a delicious salad with lettuce, carrot, cucumber, tomatoes, and boiled potatoes 😀🙌🏼
At first I tried to order the "build your own salad", but it came with corn and olives plus the veggies I choose. The chef explained that the things you choose when building your own salad are added to "salad if the day", that's why my salad contained corn and olives.
The waitress and that chef were very helpful and made sure they were right about all the ingredients for my salad and made me a new salad, and I got my delicious salad described above. I'm very grateful, thank you so so much 🙏🏼 💚
My family had 3 different meals with meat and everybody had a great meal.
We paid 630 pesos for all 4 of us.
We highly recommend this place for both meat eaters, vegan and gluten-free people 🤩🙌🏼

Read moreThe huevos pixol were very good. The side salad it came with was less convincing: The vinaigrette was missing some flavour, the fusili ingredient seems unnecessary to me, but at least it was colourful and fresh. The bread did not taste good, but this seems a systemic problem in Mexico, and the jams average. I didn't get any butter, maybe due to communication problems.
The ambiente is nice, even though the music was a bit too loud, so I found it hard to understand the masked waitress, who also showed no hint of wanting to slow down her sentences for a non-native Spanish speaker, and might even have gotten a bit exasperated when I asked her to repeat.
To sum up, 3 stars for the food and service, but an extra star for the reasonable prices and...
