I will start my review by saying that the staff mostly is friendly. Some very friendly and helpful, to extreme opposite end of barely acknowledging your presence. But that happens in a lot of hotels.|The beds weren’t horrible as most beds we have had in Mexico are very uncomfortable and my husband and I both said it was one of the more comfortable ones. But our choice was only a room with two double beds. Not so great when you have a husband and nephew who are both super tall (6’5, 6’2) so we had to get a cot. |They are always mopping the floors and are conscientious about cleanliness. So that is a plus. You are right in La Isla, so shopping and options for food and you’re right near busses and taxis etc. if you want the beach you go down the one side of La isla (opposite to the Venetian) and walk the path to the beach. |Now the negative.|So basically this hotel would work for someone staying for a short visit. But if you’re on holiday for a week or more it’s very frustrating. |There are no drawers for any of your clothes, yes there is a closet but a very small amount of hangers. A long 5ft desk but nothing under it , who needs a long desk but doesn’t need drawers on holiday?? |If you want coffee in your room, you get one complimentary set and then if you want more you pay. The buffet is also very pricy 280 pesos per person. |Zero ventilation in the bathroom, mold buildup on the doors because of this. Damage on the closet doors from poor installation and never being fixed. Shower door doesn’t close so there is a 2” gap letting water into the toilet area. |You cannot open the window, no balconies. |The pool is very shallow and falling apart. All the tiles are falling off and they have replaced with blue tiles when the rest of the pool is black tiles. Very odd. Also a very shallow pool (3ft) due to it being on a roof top. This i was not entirely surprised by as it is Mexico and most pools I have found aren’t that deep. |Another odd thing was every single day I would clear the flashing on our phone indicating we had a message. Even tho there were no messages, it would start flashing again in the middle of the night. We let it go on for a few nights and then unplugged the phone as the flashing light was super annoying. |And then a very bad point of contention was that on multiple occasions at the pool we noticed that “local” Spanish families staying at the hotel would have a waiter come right to them at the pool and would ask them their order, bypassing us. I wasn’t sure it was a distinct snub until we were at the pool area with 3 Spanish families, ourselves, (Canadian) and one other lady (likely Canadian or American) the waiter came around and went to the first Spanish family, bypassed us, went to the second one, bypassed the other lady, and went to the third and then left. Also I noticed the nachos the one family ordered (only one on the menu) we also ordered. Ours came very cold and dumped on with piles of orange melted cheese, very unappealing. Theirs was loaded with tomatoes, green onions, beef etc. looked wonderful. Same item on menu. So why was ours so bad? |Pool area lounge beds will cost you $900 pesos to rent, if you want a hot tub, it also costs $350 pesos per hour. The pool bathroom for the ladies, the walls are tipping over. You can really only use one stall without having to push over the wall so you can shut the door to lock it. |So all that being said, if you’re staying for a night or two go for it, it’s in a really good location for shopping and busses and taxis, but if you’re staying more than that prepare for some...

There is no zero or this place would get it.

The first day when we checked in, the room was dirty and had not been cleaned. This was upsetting as they did not offer a different room but rather to clean this one. So we went to the restaurant and waited while they cleaned it. I drank a margarita and my wife had a water. When they told me the room was ready, I paid for the drinks and came to the room.

The next morning when I went for breakfast, the woman running the restaurant accused me of not paying for my margarita. This infuriated me because of the way she said it. She did not ask if I paid, she flatly told me that I owed her for the drink. I told her that I paid the server and she said that if I had, he would have made the payment. I asked her politely to call the server and ask or I would simply pay for it again. After a few attempts, she contacted the server who collaborated my version. She apologized but it was still very rude.

On day three after spending all day on excursions, we came back to a room that smelled like burning plastic. We told the front desk and they had maintenance come up immediately. It turned out to be a defective fluorescent light above the sink. We left and went to eat dinner because the smell was so bad. We asked them to find some way to mask the odor. When we came back two hours later, someone had turned the airconditioner off, it was hot in our room, and they had sprayed some super strong lemon scented oil all over the floor. I am sitting here in a room where the odor is so strong that it is making my eyes water. I told them of the problem but they seem to not care what a horrible experience I am having..

I will post an update if things improve.

I went downstairs to see what was taking so long. The original person that I spoke to left without telling anyone what was happening. That upset me. I asked the oncoming night auditor if she knew what was going on. She was extremely rude...when I say rude, there are names for women who purposely try to aggravate people. She did everything she could to avoid addressing the subject. So, I asked to speak to a manager... by this time it was 11:15. Instead of getting the manager, she went to the desk and started a checkin for a large group. It took about 10 minutes before I figured out where the manager was. He was in a staff meeting. I barged into the staff meeting and asked for his help. He wanted me to wait a minute. I told him I was done waiting and asked him politely to come up to my room to check for himself what was going on. He now realizes the depth of the problem. I am waiting for...

I will say that this hotel was decent for the price. The food was fair enough. The hot tub is extra. ||When we arrived the room they gave us was never cleaned and there was a man in the room. I don't know if he was working there or what They quickly got us into another room. The bedspread was visibly very dirty. They did get a new one. ||It was a nice pool and the rooms were comfortable. ||On our 3rd night, I woke up smelling a fire, not an alarm on our floor. I was very confused. I opened the door to the hallway and saw smoke. I woke up my 7-year-old and we quickly grabbed our shoes and ran to the stairwell. While going down from the 4th floor, there were flames coming from the 3rd floor. Water was rushing everywhere. We got outside into the mall and no staff was there. there was a group of guests in our pjs standing around. We later were moved to the mall entrance where the rest of the guests were. We stood outside for 5hrs from 4:30am-10am . Not once did any staff explain what was happening or offer to get us a room anywhere else. At 10:30 the guests were allowed to go into a conference room to eat breakfast. ||I was finally allowed to go grab my things from the room. We left our vacation and drove home 2 hours. There was never any sort of apology or reaching out to see if we were okay. Its now been a week and they have not even refunded me for the nights I prepaid for. When I called they said they would possibly for one night but not the night of the fire as we slept there until the fire. I am beyond disgusted. My son is having nightmares from this...

I stayed for three nights in a beautiful, spacious room. Since I arrived in the evening and was tired, choosing a hotel located in the mall was the perfect decision. The breakfast buffet is an additional MX$340, and I was able to enjoy a wonderful Mexican breakfast experience. It’s easy and affordable to get to the city center by Uber, so I had no issues (I heard there’s also a bus stop nearby). After checking out, I realized I had forgotten my jacket in the closet. The reception staff kindly helped me find it, and the housekeeping team had carefully kept it for me. Thank you so much for your help. It was an unforgettable stay, and I highly recommend it to everyone. This version highlights your stay experience, the convenience of the location, the breakfast, transportation options, and the helpfulness of the staff.

The hotel seems new, just like the high end shopping center it is in. It is one property away from the beach, and has a rooftop pool with semi okay views (view from the room was better). It is a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, through the shopping center (tell your Uber’s/taxis to drop you off at La Isla shopping center because the property is slightly back off the street). Room service was good, and each member of the staff was so nice! Hugo greeted us as soon as we got there and was a great resource during our stay. I didn’t get everyone else’s names, but multiple members of the staff gave us recommendations as we tried to speak English and Spanish to each other. If you want to save a little bit of money, stay here and take $3-5 Uber’s to the Malecon/Altas area.

Place is less than 8 years old and falling apart in public areas, rooms are very nice and clean but lack all amenities. Harsh policies about not bringing your own food and drink to the pool, ice not available. No face cloths. Windows don't even vent. Br tender didn't know about hotels advertised specials or how to make many of their own drinks. Good was meh, drinks were blah service sucked. Nowhere to unpack your bags. Dam good thing we are just here for two nights before heading home. Will not recommend will not return. In fact the whole Fiesta chain is reflected in my opinion of this place. Oh yeah check in took forever, they had to find a charger and plug innthe tablet just to get it down. Clerk had zero info zero personality.
