Hotel Boutique Sol y Luna Spa — Hotel in Jalisco

I would love to give more than 5 stars if I could!!! My husband and I decided to get married in Ajijic and we feel so blessed to have found Hotel Boutique Sol y Luna to host our stay in Ajijic as well as some of our guests staying during our wedding weekend celebration!!! (We had the whole hotel for us that weekend) This is an absolutely example of what customer service is about, Lorena and Oscar among with their whole staff were on top of all our needs and beyond; we all had an amazing experience at this hotel. Every day the included breakfast for guest staying here, was fresh and tasty, and we even hosted a brunch for the day after our wedding here at the hotel with food and drinks for 80 people and everyone enjoyed such an amazing local, Mexican flavors!! In the other hand, installations are great!!! With some folklore all around, AC, TVs and huge clean and comfortable rooms. Their SPA is beautiful, I had a facial and a massage and it felt like being in a different place!! The pool area is great!!!! I had a Yoga session by the pool before all my festivities and my guests had an amazing after party by the pool as well!!! We will be always thankful for the amazing experience we all had here, but specially thankful to Lorena and Oscar for make of our weekend an amazing experience for both of us and all our guests that stay with us and those who attended our brunch. The malecón is walking distance from the hotel and there are restaurants, bars and stores in the same area as well!!!

I don’t want to stop mentioning that Lorena helped me and my husband setting everything up for a couple of months before we even met in person; she was always willing to help and to adjust to our needs since the first time that we had contact them to request information regarding their hotel.

We will definitely be back to Hotel Boutique Sol y Luna every time that we come back to town!!!!

Date 7/3/2022 :0( We have had approx. 4 bad dining experiences in Lakeside.  That is a relatively good average, considering we dine out often and have  for several months.  Mondays is our worst day to venture to our favorite places.  We consistently have above average meals  at  Casa Linda's.  They are closed on Mondays, so we settled for breakfast at Sol y Luna. It was shockingly the worst!  Previously, I had taken my sweetheart there for a special dinner, so I figured it would be okay.  The pleasantries ended after the front desk greeted us.  We sat in  the outdoor area as we had previously.  The server was dryer than Lurch on the Adams Family.  We asked for green juice, which we often do.  It took a bit longer than normal, but okay,  What she brought us was a poor example of what should have been.  It had large whole seeds in it and enough solid matter that we fought to reach the flavorless  liquid.  For about 15 min. we were the only paterens. Two other customers arrived.  Our order still hadn't even been taken.  After the server helped the other customers, she took our orders. We both had simple breakfasts.  It took the kitchen about 45 minutes to prepare our meals and when they arrived everything was cold and the bottom of my pancakes were charred.  Clincher, the other guests, were served before us.  I unfortunately didn't take a picture of what I was served, but please believe it was soooooo not impressive.  Eggs, pancakes, and  dos 1 1/2 inch peices of bacon.  I ate very little of it, paid our 250 pesos with tip, and left. El día del AMOR Y LA AMISTAD es los 365 días del año, se debe sembrar y cosechar constantemente, en especial aprovechamos el14 de febrero para darnos una escapada en nuestra eterna luna de miel al Pueblo Mágico de Ajijic, es nuestra primer visita después de su nombramiento como tal.

Esta ocasión por alguna extraña razón no llevábamos nada programado, solamente ir a este cercano municipio de Guadalajara a desayunar, estar juntos y pasarla bien, por si las dudas, nos llevamos una maleta en la cajuela.

No me lo van a creer, pero de camino simplemente vi este bello sitio y le comenté a Arthur, aquí me quiero quedar. Realmente no sabíamos nada del lugar solo me llamó la atención y en automático deseaba quedarme ahí.

Estacionamos el vehículo, entramos y después de un momento, salió Lorena y le comentamos que nos queríamos quedar a pasar la noche y nos dijo "Claro déjenme mostrarles las habitaciones".

Por el día de los enamorados, tenían un paquete especial, así que no fue nada difícil decidir pernoctar en SOL Y LUNA, así se llama este Hotel que actualmente tiene 8 habitaciones, las cuales tienen el nombre de justamente ocho estados de nuestro México Lindo y Querido, (Quintana Roo, Guanajuato, Campeche, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Puebla, Veracruz y la que nos tocó que se Llama Baja California), una coincidencia muy agradable, ya que como saben adoramos el Valle de Guadalupe.

Andrea es una persona muy atenta y muy comprometida, Alicia, Oscar, Fernanda y Alba, nos consintieron en todo lo que pedimos, su calidez y atención fue excepcional.

Un proyecto que nos pareció fenomenal, dónde la familia este integrada y muy emocionada por a través de este espacio, transmitir a los visitantes las Maravillas de México, como ya les mencioné, las habitaciones llevan el nombre de Estados de nuestro País, están avanzando en decorar con artesanías de la región todas sus instalaciones, generar fuentes de empleo locales y además de toooodo, que los Turistas se lleven un cachito de México en el corazón, ya sabrán lo que me encantó el proyecto.

Baja California #8, Una gran habitación, tiene un recibidor espacioso, un cuadro pintado a mano del Valle de Guadalupe, identificamos la pintura con el viñedo Adobe Guadalupe, una artista local plasmó este bello lugar en un cuadro, cama muy confortable, frente a un televisor Smart, un baño cómodo y con dispensadores de jabón y shampoo, de esta manera se reduce la cantidad de plástico que se genera por este concepto, qué les platico de la decoración, todo a doc con el día de los enamorados, veladoras, pétalos de rosas, incienso, cena a cuatro tiempos, masaje relajante, una copa de vino tinto y muy buena compañada.

La selección de música a la hora del desayuno, de lo mejor, la decoración de cada uno de los espacios, luce de muy buen gusto realzando el colorido de nuestras artesanías, la distinción que tienen en cada detalle, logra que desees regresar.

Les comparto que todos Ustedes tienen un regalo especial al momento de pasar una noche en este Hotel Sol y Luna, sólo tienen que decir al momento de reservar que Alma Viajera les recomendó pasar una noche ahí. No se arrepentirán, para mí es un placer tener el honor de recomendar lugares que enaltecen la Cultura, Los Artesan@s y a través de sus espacios, mostrar a los visitantes lo inimaginable, lo increíble, lo Mágico que es Nuestro País México.

Es un proyecto en constante crecimiento, por lo que tendremos que regresar para ir estrenando áreas nuevas, cómo la alberca climatizada, el Top Garden con vista hacia el Lago, el salón de eventos especiales, que tal he!.

Todo el tiempo están limpiando y sanitizando los espacios, hay distancia suficiente entre mesa y mesa, una de las cosas más importantes es la generación y permanencia de Empleos en este tiempo tan complicado, les deseo la mejor de las vibras y agradezco a Dios por ponernos siempre en el momento adecuado, con las personas indicadas y en el tiempo perfecto.
