A real gem. Unassuming place that has a bit of a commune feel. The rooms are lovely, private with lots of space, and the beds are very comfortable and clean. The outdoor space has a real zen feel, with lots of outdoor seating for relaxing or eating. The kitchen is shared, but its very functional. Everything you need and lots of space. I personally loved it here, the hosts were extremely accomodating and kind, and they strive very hard to make the guests comfortable. There is no air conditioning, so that was a drawback during a heatwave, but other than that it's a beautiful little place. It's a short walk to the Plaza and other amenities, so it's located very well.

An AMAZING home (technically hotel) to stay. Loved staying here. Great job. Was in a more big hotel 8-10 min away. It was bigger with great view of lake, but TERRIBLE SERVICE. Here, the owners are great/sweet, beds feel greater, wifi much more better and pool nice too. The shower is better for you if older as some rooms have a seating location. Only negative was my room had wall cracks and obviously flies/bugs at times. Also only coffee and apples offered. However they will make something if you want.

Quinta is a truly wonderful place and if you are lucky enough to stay here, good for you. Here's why: Everything is with high quality: the linens, the rooms, the grounds, the kitchen facilities. And very clean. And the manager is very much on her game. She is kind and intelligent and communicates clearly and is always available. As for details, it is in a wonderful, residential, quiet neighborhood, ideally located a short walk into Ajijic Centro, grocery store, restaurants, bars, Malecon walk, and all you need. There are enough electric outlets and light, which is sometimes a problem in hotels. The WiFi is excellent and reliable. There is an overhead fan in the room and windows have screens and windows to allow air and ability to close up, when it gets cooler at night. The common areas are comfortable and inviting. The rates are fair. There is a mirador, or rooftop area, and a pool and spots for outdoor eating, as well as indoor eating. What to change and improve...nothing. ...
