Marvelous service. It's my first time and I am delighted how excellent the service was. I booked the room with the jacuzzi and it was very relaxing. Communication with Karina via WhatsApp was amazing. I recommend Fanny for her service, she made me feel like if I was in a 5star hotel, helpful at anytime. Every staff of this hotel have been extremely friendly. Perfect location to see all the cultural sites. Very warm and joyful staff at the restaurant. The breakfast was very tasty. Can't wait to come back.

Service : 10/10. Accommodation to everything I asked for and if I asked for another room, they were willing if there was space. I got the cheapest room (without A/C - they gave me a fan) it was a pleasant stay. Cleaning/ restocking room everyday was nice. During our stay in early map - sound level was a little loud but we got used to it and the fan became our white noise . Such a great experience We were surprised— if we stayed in CDMX we would come back to this hotel

We spent six nights at the Monaco, as others have said, a good place for the price. The location is as good as it gets, a little rough at night nearby, but never threatening. Lots of life around the hotel, Oxxos and restaurants close. Top marks for location.||If you intend to be there more than one night upgrade your room from the basic. The basic is inexpensive and for good reason. It is well appointed, clean, comfortable bed, no window and tiny. We upgraded two levels to master suite, almost doubled the price but got spacious rooms with wonderful view windows. 950 pesos per night. Worth the increase.||The TV had good English movie channels and the Wi-Fi was excellent.||It is a little down at the heels, chipped furniture, holey linens, beds great, bathroom, shower and dressing area first class (loose toilet seat).||While we were there, no English in the lobby or restaurant. The Spanglish we use on the Pacific side of Mexico did not work, best to have a phone app if problems arise. Staff quite friendly after 3 days, a little stiff prior to that. ||The restaurant is acceptable, but there are cheaper and better places nearby.||We would stay there again, and will, the location and rooms...

My advice: double check your reservations - and get it in writing. We recommended this hotel to friends, who stayed for four nights. Our friends are two sisters - both in their 70's and travel together a lot - and they just wrote to say they had a bad check-out in which they were charged $76 for a no-show. It was the hotel's mistake but they were still charged. ||||When they checked in the first day, they corrected an error on the part of the hotel which said they were "Two adults and a child." The hotel rebooked them as two adults - but apparently registered the first booking as a no-show. The night before they were to leave, they double-checked with the clerk to make sure everything was in order prior to their morning check-out. They were told it was. Then, at 4:30 in the morning, they were turning in their keys and were informed they would be charged for an extra day. Nothing was mentioned about this the night before. As they were contesting this, the taxi arrived to take them to the airport. ||||I am hoping this mistake will be corrected. If so, I will update this review. If not, I can no longer...

We walked in to book a room and front desk was extremely dismissive/unfriendly. We asked how much were rooms and an older woman pointed at a monitor behind us and told us those were the rooms and prices. We figured out what we wanted , we went back and a younger woman, who was almost annoyed we were ready to book . Told us there was a very long wait list and wasn’t sure if they’d even have a room available for that night . We were never given the opportunity to join this wait list. She motioned us to the waiting area and said to sit and wait till she was done with her paperwork. Then she’d ’let us know’ and barely looked up when she spoke to us. I guess they keep it old school ? I didn’t really mind their process, it was the attitude. It was weird to give us options to choose then annoyed when we were ready to book. This was feb 1, 2025, we literally walked around the corner to Hotel Fuente , they gave us a price immediately and handed us the key. I will post a thorough review...
