Service was good, all the staff were friendly. We stayed in a 2 bed room with 3 little ones and we had a lot of closet space and good drawer space for all our stuff( 5days/4nights). The room itself was not as big as some other hotels but for the price it was understandable, although I wouldn’t have minded a little table to eat on. There was an armchair but it was super low and couldn’t even reach the counter. The pool area is nice and enjoyable in any weather because it’s covered and the water is kept warm because of the hot tub. Didn’t get to try the restaurant food but looking at the prices just know it’s USD comparable restaurant prices. If on a budget it’s better going around the block to the many authentic Mexican stands and restaurants. We tried 2 great restaurants across the street which were Sumo and Casa de los Abuelos with small kids both 5 stars. The hotels location is primarily why I booked here and so glad I did. We were able to walk to local transportation so it was easy getting around CDMX. Hidalgo MetroBus Station was a 5 minute walk and so was Revolución MetroTrain Station. The Alameda Central was about a 5 minute walk. Conveniently, there’s an Oxxo across the street. Also a pharmacy around the corner. Two extra things I didn’t know about this hotel that I liked were the fact that they offer their own reliable taxi services on the spot and that they exchange USD into MXN on the spot for a flat fee for those emergencies cases. They also have armed security cops at the doors for extra added security. One thing I didn’t like about the hotel was when I had a guest over. She and a child weren’t able to go up to the room and were stopped by the police guards. I had to register her and pay in order for her to visit me. But overall I would stay in this hotel if in the city once again.

Well how fortunate I was to choose this hotel! I was unwell upon my arrival and the general manager, Carlos upgraded my accommodation to help in my recovery. I was so taken back by the compassion I was shown and the ongoing diligence by staff to check on my progress and offer to assist in whatever way i required. The staff at this hotel are of the highest calibre and people like Quan Carlos should be commended for how he assists hotel guests from showing them the best local facilities, best food options and generally a lovely, respectful human being. I would recommend a room with those extra comforts as makes the stay even more more pleasant. The pool area is just stunning and well worth hanging out in. The only suggestion which is just a suggestion is be nice to have some live entertainment ( if allowed) in restaurant area or elsewhere. This would make people enjoy all the beautiful musical aspects to the Mexican culture.

As usual some of my opinions are based on the particular needs of me and my family but I'll try to be as objective as possible.

Let's start with the positives: Location. This depends on what you are looking for, but for the price, is close enough of different landmarks in Mexico. Is not actually in Reforma and the sorroundings are not pretty but let's say more colorful. Pool. Highlight of the hotel, located on the 7th floor, is an indoors pool, with glass ceiling so you still get sunlight but protected from the rain or elements. They have towels available, just be aware that the pool is maybe for kids above 5 Food. We got the breakfast buffet and the selection of food is nice, a mix between Mexican and "American" type breakfast. The flavor was good as well.

Lets move on the neutral (both positive and negative): Rooms. The rooms are big and comfortable, although the hotel is really trying to renovate but they should focus on the rooms as there are many things that make your stay lest comfortable. In our case, the bathroom was awful, strong sewage small, noisy toilet everytime you flush, the door hinges were squinching. Now this may be particularly to certain rooms but if you are in the back of the hotel near the back elevator you will hear then all night as they still use old elevators with a strong sound, obviously people use then until midnight and start again at 6, if you don't mind the sound while sleeping this shouldn't be a problem, otherwise it make it difficult. Services. I put the services as neutral, because the staff in the reception were really nice and helpful. The waitress on the contrary they all had an attitude and during breakfast if the hotel is full, they are understaffed. We don't expect smiles and sunshines but at least helpful. Now not sure if is directly the cleaning staff or just poor planning, we follow the instructions and even call reception to make to ensure that they clean our room everyday as we travel with a kid and is important and nice to come to a clean room, 3 of the 4 nights we went out in the morning and when we came back in the evening no cleaning was done. So we had to call again to make sure they clean, the problem is that they ask you to leave the room to do it, in our case no a big deal as we went to the pool, but something to consider.

Negative: -Internet. I mean 2024, hotels should know this is a most, not sure if just the location of the room, but we struggle with internet the whole stay Microwave and fridge. This may be particularly to my family, but ok the room doesn't have a microwave (as in many hotels) but they should have one available at the kitchen or reception to use for the guest, as we travel with kids, we often need to reheat certain things. Same with the fridge at the room, it was really old and not really cooling stuff

Overall, I would have chosen to pay a little more to stay in one of the other (newest) hotels...

Everything started with the check-in, our room was not ready, we understood that and they held the baggage for us. We left to do an excursion, we came back really late at night, got elevator walked to our room that was a presidential room, the key didn't work, have to go down to get a new one, then wanted to get in shower and no hot water, they didn't have anyone to fix it, so have to take a cat shower because the water was so cold, the next day same thing no hot water, called and they sent someone to fix it. The Tvs are not smart so there is not netflix, so if you don't speak Spanish sorry that's all the channels they got. The refrigerator doesn't work , they said they were removing all of them from the rooms, not idea why but that's what they said, then we decided to get in the jacuzzi, turn in the water and dark orange/brown water came out, got to open the drainage which is damage and you must use a knife or something to get it out, let water run out for a while because that rust can hurt your skin, by the time the water is to the right level there is not more hot water, so the water is warm no hot, means you need to get out quick, unless you enjoy cold showers. Since the drainage handle didn't work it was so hard to see the bottom for all the bubbles and I decided to let it stay like that until the bubbles were gone to be able to release the water, it was probably 3 hits when I went to the bathroom and it was water everywhere, not idea how it got out, but the floor was so wet and cold that I need to dry with towels, the shower when you turn on the water smells so bad like pee, so if you stay there take shower sandals before you get an infection, and to finished we paid all inclusive, we went to breakfast and since I have a small procedure with all the medication, that i need to put in the refrigerator (which we have one but not working) I don't feel that hungry so I didn't eat much breakfast but I decided to get a yogurt to take with me and a waiter stopped me and said it loud that ppl turned the head thinking( there is a theft) you can't take that we you, you must pay that, I was OK. So I left it in the place and went to talk to the manager of the hotel, he said sorry but you have to consume your breakfast in the restaurant, but yet he told me I could order to my room and I can order from the pool area.. doesn't make sense to me that I can have anything in 2 areas, but I couldn't take it from the restaurant. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else that...
