A beautiful hotel, but shockingly mismanaged—definitely not worth the price.
Ennea Hotel has so much potential, but it’s obvious that no one is managing it properly. The lack of attention to detail and guest experience was disappointing at every turn.
Service was consistently lacking. The pool bar was always unattended, meaning guests who wanted to order drinks simply couldn’t. There weren’t enough sunbeds by the pool, so getting a spot to relax felt like a competition—something I wouldn’t expect at this price point. When we needed an iron, there wasn’t one available, and the manager had to bring one personally. We had four pieces of luggage, yet no one offered assistance, and the entrance hall isn’t designed for handling baggage.
During our stay, my best friend celebrated her birthday. The staff knew about it and even helped me organize a dolphin tour, yet the hotel itself did absolutely nothing—not even a small card or a simple “Happy Birthday” in the room.
The hotel also provides beach umbrellas, but they are just bulky pool umbrellas that aren’t suitable for the beach. For the price they charge, I’d expect proper beach equipment. On top of that, they even charge guests to use a tote bag, which is unusual—most hotels only charge if you want to keep it.
To make matters worse, I submitted this feedback directly to the hotel, and they never responded. That alone speaks volumes about how little they care about their guests.
For the price Ennea Hotel charges, I expected a well-run, thoughtful experience. Instead, I left feeling like guest satisfaction simply isn’t a priority. A real pity, because the place itself...
Read moreGorgeous new boutique hotel in a great location. Very expensive and they have a few kinks to work out.
Pros: amazing room, bathroom, pool area, gorgeous restaurant (don’t miss breakfast!) & they want to provide top notch service. Great location close to the action but just enough away for serenity.
Cons: You might need a reservation for the restaurant for dinner, which they didn’t tell us when booking. They reluctantly sat us at the bar and then half of their tables sat empty. They also only provide one Nespresso capsule per night, but again don’t tell you that. The coffee is so much better in the restaurant anyway. It took us 30 minutes to check out and they accidentally double charged us, and I had to contact the hotel for a refund. They ran out of pool towels one morning. There are no windows, just screens, so you will hear everything around you (street noise, music etc) These little service blunders added up and for price these take away from the overall experience. I’m hopeful with more time and experience they can work out these issues and provide value for what you are paying. This was by far the most expensive place we stayed and it didn’t quite live up to...
Read moreBeautiful hotel - architecturally creative, and nestled amongst nature, it really gave a peaceful vibe. The service here was amazing. Everyone was so helpful and pleasant. There are only 9 rooms here so the staff really make an effort to know you and make sure you feel welcome.
The hotel was perfectly situated less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and close to so many great bars and restaurants too.
There were some who said the rooms were noisy, and while they are definitely more open concept, after 10:30pm and before 9am, I found both the hotel and the street to be pretty quiet. I’m a light sleeper and didn’t need ear plugs but if you’re sensitive to noise maybe pack some just in case. I liked the open screens going out to the hammock on the balcony - the rooms were cleaned daily and fit the aesthetic of the rest of the hotel.
Check out the restaurant here too, the food was delicious!
Thanks for the wonderful...
