Came here after a walk on the beach right around sunset on Thursday night. Service was initially very friendly and forward. Ordered passion fruit dorado/mahi ceviche with two house special drinks. Drinks were “mojitos” but with fresh oregano, white wine and locally produced silver rum. They were great. Ceviche was tasty and a generous portion. Location of the restaurant is prime. We ordered a second round of drinks but it took over 20 minutes to get them. And this was already after waiting some time after finishing our first drinks. Overall service was friendly but slow. It’s forgivable, but not sure what happened. Not driving that evening so not sure what parking situation is/was. Lots of scooters and motos out front but a few cars parked around the alleys, too.

Absolutely wonderful place with a spectacular view of La Punta. Delicious and well presented food and drink, very attentive staff, and great Wi-Fi for what the region allows. The only "mancha" is when paying with card, they automatically add a tip of 15%, then the machine asks for added tip. I'm happy to be generous and usually tip 20% for this level of service, but I did not like the subtle trickery of this move. If that were to be changed (as well as getting some cool local coasters... using napkins is such a waste!), I would consider this an A+ establishment, but am leaving with a mildly sour taste in my mouth after such a delightful experience.

Amazing Spot! You can either have a couple of drinks, dine, brunch or even just work from their space. The service is amazing, everyone treats you kindly and friendly. 🍴🦐🫘🧂 My favorite drink was “Jamaica Mezcal” a traditional Mexican drink with an extra of a hibiscus flower on top that just adds more great flavor to it. 🍷🍸🍹🥂 The Wi-Fi speed is exceptional with 150+ Mgbs, which allowed me to work while I ate one of the best hummus I’ve had. 💻📈👩🏻‍💼👩🏻‍💻 Also if you want a place to enjoy the sunset you can try their terrace with a great view. ☀️🌅🌄

We arrived for our first visit to La Punta at 10 AM for breakfast/brunch on a Saturday. We chose Savanna from reading the reviews on Google & mostly because of the promised view of the ocean & surfers. The view from the second story dining area did not disappoint. The online menu had an English and Spanish option. Because we don’t speak Spanish, we struggled a little bit with placing our order. However, we promptly received our coffee. My café Americano was hot & excellent tasting. We watched the activity going on below us as surfers and vendors prepared for the day. Soon, our food arrived and we were pleasantly surprised. My wagyu burrito was muy bueno. It was stuffed with really flavorful ground beef & was nicely balanced with pickled veggies. I like a lot of protein for breakfast, and this was the perfect choice. My friend ordered the sunny side up eggs with pork belly. He was super happy with the savory chunks of pork belly, perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs, and good quality crunchy toast. The eggs are served over confit potatoes, and he said they were a great accompaniment with the eggs. Seriously, he kept talking about how good his food was for the rest of the day. We had a great breakfast at Savanna & based on our experience, we would highly recommend it to...

This place is special. Beyond a stunning rooftop bar with unparalleled food, it has a magic that will make you want to spend entire days here. (And I have.)

Start your day with an iced coffee and the best Chilequiles you’ll ever try. Bring your laptop - yes there is a 200 peso order minimum for this, which is just $10. To those who left nasty reviews based on this: if you’re not willing to order $10’s worth, but want to sit all day with your $2,000 MacBook, plz go back to the first world where you can get ‘aGuA p0R fAVoR’ for FREE ;)

Stick around and be humbled by the sunset with an unobstructed view of La Punta beach. 2-for-1 mezcal cocktails will kick off your evening with a refreshing buzz - they bring them out two at a time!

A delightfully unconventional menu offers local flavors transformed to create a culinary experience that will stay with you long after your tan has faded and you’re back at your day job.

They have well curated DJs on Wednesday-Saturday nights. The crowd is always fun and the staff has the happiest, friendliest energy. It’s one big party you will never...

I have eaten at Savanna 2 times. Both times were major fails. Confusion with the items we ordered and inattenitive service on both occasions. Our last visit we ordered Pork Belly with Eggs for breakfast and after 40 minutes we asked our waiter about our meal. He magically appeared with our food in about 1 minute.....GREAT! However, the eggs, the pork belly and potatoes were completely cold. I can only imagine our order sat in the kitchen for 30 some odd minutes before sering it to us. We told the waiter and the meal was taken away to correct the problem. After waiting another 20 minutes, we had to raise the white flag in defeat and canceled our order. We paid for our coffee and left in frustration. I've gone to Savanna many times after surfing with friends for their beer & mezcal special. It's a great deal with the best views of the surfing and the beautiful ocean. My 3 stars are for the drink specials and views. No stars for the food...
