We stayed in La Punta for a week and we visited Cafe Ole at least a dozen times for breakfast and lunch. This place is incredible and the constant line ups are well justified.

Their fish omelettes are top tier and they make incredibly refreshing fruit smoothies. We've had those for breakfast almost every single day.

Curiosity got the best of me and I also gave their maple bacon waffle a try. It was super tasty, but way too salty and sweet for one person lol, I would share this for sure.

Overall, the service and atmosphere was incredible. The price was a little higher than expected for this location, but given the amount of tourists, I think it's fair. This is a define recommendation for anyone...

It was a little slow but that can be overlooked due to the best cappuccino with almond milk that we've had since we've been here. Yes, the almond milk was actually on the menu, among other choices, and we did not have to ask. We split a Nutella, strawberry, banana, whipped cream, ice cream crepe, that they split for us and covered the entire plate. Yes each half cover the plate, so I have no idea how one person can eat the whole thing. Needless to say it was excellent also as was the fresh juice guava, pineapple, Ginger, orange juice. Amazing and in a fun part of town called La Punta, on the edge of Zicatella... Both are surfing areas, AND, there is a little hotel here too!! (A bit noisy...

This place is an OG for a reason. It was one of the first joints in La Punta—and thankfully still going strong. The food is solid across the board: breakfast that slaps, lunch that satisfies, and enough options to keep both hungover tourists and avocado moms happy.

But let’s be real—the star of the show is the people-watching. Grab a seat out front, where the tables spill onto the dusty road, and enjoy the circus. You’ll see sunburnt tourists arguing about mezcal, stray dogs with more confidence than you, and someone trying to carry a surfboard and a smoothie at the same time. Pure entertainment.

Good food, dusty charm, and a front-row seat to La Punta’s daily parade of...

This place is amazing! Wish we would’ve came here on our first day. It took us too long to dine here. It’s a fun atmosphere with a DJ in a DJ booth, super friendly service from the start to end, really reasonable prices, tons of delicious options for food and drink, AND it’s actually really good! I ordered the Ricky Waffle which is a waffle with butter, bacon and maple and omg it was ssssooo good! And loaded with bacon; they definitely don’t skimp on the portions. I also ordered the Misha juice—it has orange, guava, pineapple, and ginger! I DEFINITELY recommend coming here and don’t wait like we did, come straight here!
