Centro19 Hotel — Hotel in Querétaro

This extremely central hotel is perfect for a stay in beautiful Queretaro. Staff are friendly, although only one of them spoke good English - but then I didn't see any other English people while I was there! Within a 45 minute drive is the beautiful San Miguel de Allende and also Bernal. Queretaro is full of shops, squares, entertainment, excellent restaurants, hotels and bars and Centro 19 Hotel is right in the middle of the action. ||I don't know about other peoples comments about loud music at night, but I didn't hear any!||Rooms are large, my bathroom was very large and everything was very clean.||I booked through Booking.com and got a good rate including breakfast but they don't tell you (unless you ask!) that this only includes a dish of fresh fruit and coffee from the first floor cafe which is part of the hotel. Anything else from the breakfast menu is extra, but the prices are very reasonable.||Highly recommended - great price, great location, great rooms...

horrible experience, hotel is next to a nightclub (actually a coffee but as noisy as a nightclub) and you can hear loud music all night long... asked for a room change and was told that there was none available, asked a second time after trying to sleep for about an hour and told the "front desk clerk" (it was more of a security guy instead) that I wanted either a different room or my money back and oh surprise... it happened to be a room available which was still noisy but at least you could sleep a little bit... paid in cash at check in as per the FD recommendation, not sure if they are just waiving taxes or hiding those walk ins money from the management... please do yourself a favor and do not book this place at all... btw, they offer complimentary parking but is 3 blocks away and there is no on-site restaurant although location allows you to choose from...

Lugar: Central 19 Hotel.

Ubicación: La ubicación del hotel es excelente, cruzas la calle y enfrente del hotel hay una pequeña iglesia, en contra esquina del hotel un oxxo, a media cuadra del hotel encuentras el tranvía (tours) y el parque La Corregidora. Si quieres comer ó cenar, aún lado del parque están los restaurantes y suvenirs.

Servicio: Al llegar al hotel cerca de las 4 p.m. le pregunte al señor de recepción si tenía habitaciones disponibles y me comentó que si. Me dijo "Te voy a dar una habitación de dos camas al precio de una habitación individual, ya que no tengo habitaciones sencillas". Me cobro 770 mxn, me dio los controles de la TV, las claves de Internet, la tarjeta con la que abres la habitación y subi por el elevador.

Internet: En recepción me dierón 2 papelitos con las claves de Internet, 5 redes!. Me dijo el señor "te doy todas estas claves a ver cual te sirve por que me esta fallando la red". El primer día no tuve red, pero en el segundo, sin tema. Vi que fuerón unos técnicos arreglar la red.

Habitación 235: Me costo trabajo abrir la puerta, no se si fue por temas de la llave ó que fue, cuando por fin abri la puerta, tuve que empujarla por que se trababa. La habitación la encontré limpia, dos camas, buro,TV, 2 mesas, silla, ventilador, aire acondicionado (no servia), caja fuerte, ganchos y un pequeño bote de basura. En el baño encontre 2 toallas de cuerpo y 1 de manos, secadora, papel higiénico y 3 botes de shampoo, los cuales están protegidos para que el huésped no se los lleve. La cortina de mi habitación no cerraba bien, por más que la jalaba, no cerraba correctamente. No me preocupe por que todo el día andaba en la calle y al dormir, no hay edificios que estén a la misma altura del hotel, así que no te pueden espiar. El agua de la regadera!, se tarda en salir el agua caliente, y para el problema que tenemos en México si es molesto por que se desprecia mucha.

Ambiente: Si bien esta ubicado en una calle centrica, puedes dormir tranquilamente, de repente se escucha cuando abren las llaves de la regadera ó del lavabo y si el huesped del piso del piso arriba "pisa fuerte" tambien se escucha.

Adicional: El hotel no cuenta con estacionamiento, no se si tengan convenio con uno pero esta a tres cuadras del hotel. Lleva cambio ó paga con tarjeta, ya que luego no tienen cambio en recepción. El hotel es sencillo pero a mi parecer por el costo y la cercanía de todo,...
