El Rincón del Jaguar — Restaurant in Querétaro

I definitely do not recommend this place. When I mentioned to my waiter that I was celebrating my birthday and if it was possible to switch out the 3 birthday shots for something else he replied in a very apathetic careless way. He said that the establishment was not flexible in those request. So I said I understand and just made it clear that I was curious to know if they would honor my request. However when I asked about the chicken wings flavor choices I asked if we could have more flavors in our order of 20 wings and the waiter also said that the kitchen staff were not flexible in those request either and that they would not honor it. At that point I began to get annoyed. We were the only customers in the restaurant, you would think they would want to serve us well since they had no one else to serve. Nope, wrong! The waiter couldn't even get our two beers right. He brought my friend the wrong beer. Once the chicken wings arrived they were half buffalo and half lemon pepper. The buffalo flavor was good but the lemon pepper tasted like nothing but salt. Toooooooo salty! No lemon and no pepper flavor. The celery they bring as garnish looked like it was a week old. Gross!!! And to top it all off the chicken wings were super dry like deep fried cardboard. Nasty! Our waiter made an attempt to table touch with us but to no avail he ended feeling like he was just stalking our table for empty bottles and dirty dishes. It felt rather awkward. I definitely do not recommend this place with the overall attitude of the establishment doesn't want to honor a customers...

The pizza was delicious, both flavors: cochinita and primavera. Totally recommended 🍕

The michelada was also good but it was more sweet than spicy which wasn't my favorite thing🍺

The pozole was also very tasty, filled with flavor like a good pozole should🍲

In the terrace the weather was great and you have a nice view of some parts of the downtown 🌃

I came into town late and found them open as they cater to a drinking audience. However, they still offered food. The waitress recommended the "orden de arrachera". The massive plate came and was so good, particularly the beef. Really, there was too much food for one person. Somehow, i ate most of it because it was delicious and $10. The decorations are tacky and dirty. Could use a good...
