Everyone is very well taken care of here - from the very thorough introduction and tour by Diana, the general manager, to the complete, delicious and filling breakfast every morning. The rooms are large and kept spotless by Maria every day, and the AC keeps you nicely comfortable. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and lounge area nearly daily, and it made for an excellent drying area for swim gear and wetsuits. :) They do have a rinse tank for washing off your gear after you've enjoyed the ocean.||||The common areas are large and inviting, and it was really enjoyable to share breakfast with the variety of guests and trade travel stories and advice. The general feel of the whole place is like a comfortable spread-out home of a good friend where you feel welcomed and appreciated. You have a shelf in the communal frig if you want to cook your own meals, and there is always plenty of filtered cold water and ice cubes available.||||Location is 4 1/2 blocks in from the ocean, and 3 blocks from the main plaza. Cozumel is very safe to walk anywhere, even at night, and the neighborhood is quiet and residential, but very close to many good...
Read moreEver stay anywhere and love it so much that you don't want to write a review out of fear it will be all booked up when you want to go back?!? This is one of those places. Big, quite, comfortable, and clean rooms; great people running it (Diana is the most attentive manager\concierge\cook\friend I've ever run across); wonderful breakfasts; beautiful grounds; and a superb location (a block from a 24 hour big local grocery (with legitimate ATMs inside) and lots of great local restaurants (no tourist prices or idiocy, but easy walking to the tourist areas is that's more your speed)). Easy street parking for your rental car (had no issues with mine). It is big enough that you are not crowded by the other guests, small enough that "car to room" is a one minute trip. I loved having access to the kitchen at night, so that when I wanted to, I could cook or reheat leftovers (guests have access to a refrigerator, stoves, ovens, micrwaves, purified water, ice, ect) and just relax from a "hard" day diving! I...
Read moreThis newly constructed B and B was a wonderful home away from home for us during a week of diving: in a residential area close to downtown and many restaurants, clean and quiet, with spacious, sound-proof rooms and shaded balcony when you want privacy, and a lovely garden and big roof-top pool area where you can either relax and read (or, like us, practice yoga) or hang out and visit with the other guests. The shared kitchen also promotes a nice sense of community. As noted in other reviews, Diana, the manager, is a longtime Cozumel resident who is both super knowledgeable and helpful, and goes out of her way to ensure all the guests are cared for (we watched her spend hours on he phone helping a couple of other guests sort out their airline tickets). We were also fortunate enough to be there at the same time as the owners, Christine and Ken, and very much enjoyed getting to know them as well as their friendly golden retriever, Baloo....
