Envatours Cozumel — Attraction in San Miguel de Cozumel

We are writing to express our deep disappointment and frustration following the experience we had on the tour we booked through your company. The service we received was far from the standards promised and did not meet our expectations.

Here are the details of our complaint: High price for inadequate service: We paid a premium price for a tour advertised as high-quality and luxurious, with a duration of 1.5 hours. In reality, the tour started late, ended 15 minutes early, and when we raised this issue with the guide, they completely ignored our concerns. Disrespectful behavior from the staff: Throughout the tour, we encountered unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from the guides and the driver. While trying to take pictures, the staff deliberately moved the boat, causing us to lose balance and slip. Limited free time: We were given only 2 minutes to take photos, which is unrealistic considering there were 10 participants on the boat. Additionally, the snorkeling time was very short and lacked proper service or assistance. Management’s conduct: At the end of the tour, we stayed to take a few more photos, trying to justify the high cost we paid. In response, the management was called to remove us from the boat, which was humiliating and highly unprofessional.

We have never experienced such disappointing service before. Our experience was marked by unprofessionalism, a lack of courtesy, and disregard for customers. We expect you to investigate this matter thoroughly and issue a full refund for the amount we paid.

Recommendation: Keep away from this Store! All they offer is trash for big money. They promise too much to cover up the trash. Trip costs 50 USD but not worth even 5 USD! Nothing to see or experience there.. absolutely no corals to see while snorkeling, only artificial rubbish.. the most annoying part is, they shamelessly rip you off by any means and chance. Most ridiculous and obvious rip off is that they take pictures of you with a simple action cam (not even professional DSLR or something) and afterwards they want to have 25 USD for EACH picture DIGITALLY sent to your phone. Couldn't be more obvious.. Staff is also not kind if it comes to honest feedback/reclaiming, all they want ist extra cash as "tips" and they claim it like it was their. Not good experience at al..

The glass ship is amazing and it’s a lot of fun to look at the ground, the trip though is simply disappointing, of 2 hours in the end you get promised 1:30, of these we had 1:20 and it was promised to have 1 time snorkel, not in a coral reef, nope, a place close to San Miguel and the guide gave food so some fish followed. If you want to see marine life and snorkel that’s not your trip. If you are afraid to swim and want to see some fish from the boat it’s your trip. I saw nothing really spectacular for Cozumel having one of the greatest coral reefs. The tour guide was annoyed by me asking which coral reef it is, because it was just some random and close place.
