The location of the hostel is a bit unfortunate, directly near a minaret, and people are sometimes going up the hills on motorcycles, so sadly it's rather noisy. But the amazing owner makes up for that 1000 times!!! We felt very welcome, were put in touch with others guests on arrival, and we all had breakfast and dinner on the rooftop terrace together. He checked upon us frequently, was quick to fulfill any request by all of the guests immediately (made phonecalls, printed documents, went shopping for extra wishes during breakfast, ..) Read moreI stayed in Mabidi’s hostel for a month in January. From the start of my trip to the end Mabidi was a fantastic host and every one else who worked in the hostel. Everything you needed was provided and they would help you with anything. The hostel also provides amazing and affordable tours to places like paradise valley and the dessert ! Which I highly recommend! The do bbqs aswell with home cooked authentic Moroccan food which was great and delicious! The atmosphere in the hostel was also so lovely and friendly. We booked a private room, it was small and you could hear lots of noise from the hostel and the street. Toilets and showers were out of water for most of our stay, you could smell that.
