Rayane guest house — Hotel in caïdat de Taghazout

I would never stay again at this guesthouse/hostel. I give one star for the shared bathroom where I had hot water and was clean. The dorms are just a scam. The room is extremely small. You can’t even put your luggage in the room and almost no power sockets. my mattress was broken. I slept on the slatted base. pillows are comfortable. I have often visited hostels and guesthouses in my life. But this is not the service I want to pay for. In Belgium we haver a term for it: huisjesmelkerij. I suggest to have an upgrade and decide if they want to be a guest house or a hostel. Please improve the way to access the hostel. You don’t get a key and have to ring the bell day and...

I rarely write reviews for hostels, but I had to for this place!! From the moment they lowered the front door key by string from the roof terrace I felt so welcome, especially by the two main guys who always smiled. You can tell they love their job and spending time with guests, sharing their culture with some chill music in the night time. Rain shower! Greatest shower I’ve had since stepping into Morocco. Big window in the room, super airy, could tan from bed if you wanted to. Had the greatest time staying here, Tofik & Yusef were extremely friendly & always around. Played connect four from the selection of games, enjoyed breakfast that ran late when we slept in. & got caught up talking w other guests on the rooftop while playing w the house dog Chico.
