I rarely write reviews for hostels, but I had to for this place!! From the moment they lowered the front door key by string from the roof terrace I felt so welcome, especially by the two main guys who always smiled. You can tell they love their job and spending time with guests, sharing their culture with some chill music in the night time. If you want a cosy hostel with exceptional staff in Taghazout this is the place for you. As I write this review, we are hanging out watching Casa de Papel on TV on the roof terrace 🤩

Rain shower! Greatest shower I’ve had since stepping into Morocco. Big window in the room, super airy, could tan from bed if you wanted to. Had the greatest time staying here, Tofik & Yusef were extremely friendly & always around. Played connect four from the selection of games, enjoyed breakfast that ran late when we slept in. & got caught up talking w other guests on the rooftop while playing w the house dog Chico. Highly recommend, feels like home. Would absolutely return.

Expérience mitigée dans cet établissement de type "auberge de jeunesse", que nous avons choisi en raison de ses notes élogieuses. Bien que l'établissement soit géré par des employés accueillants et sympathiques, la propreté laisse à désirer à plusieurs endroits (lavabo bouché, vêtements qui trainent dans les douches qui sont sales, présence de poils et de cheveux dans le lit et dans les sanitaires, propreté du linge de lit et des serviettes douteuse). La plupart de ces manquements relatifs à la propreté semble être due au manque d'hygiène de certains voyageurs (merci à la fille qui avait laissé son string rouge traîner sur le porte essuie-main du lavabo du 1er étage si elle me lit). Le petit-déjeuner était bon, et la terrasse propre, quoi qu'inondée dès qu'il pleuvait, le plafond n'étant pas étanche. Bien entendu, on ne peut pas trop en demander au vue du tarif relativement bas défiant toute concurrence. Le rapport qualité-prix est donc au rendez-vous pour ma part, bien que ma copine en pense autrement. En bref, établissement "roots" plutôt recommandé aux voyageurs au budget assez serré ou aux gens accordant peu d'importance à l'hygiène. Si vous en avez la possibilité, je vous recommande de payer un peu plus cher et de privilégier des sanitaires non partagés.

I would never stay again at this guesthouse/hostel. I give one star for the shared bathroom where I had hot water and was clean. The dorms are just a scam. The room is extremely small. You can’t even put your luggage in the room and almost no power sockets. my mattress was broken. I slept on the slatted base. pillows are comfortable. I have often visited hostels and guesthouses in my life. But this is not the service I want to pay for. In Belgium we haver a term for it: huisjesmelkerij. I suggest to have an upgrade and decide if they want to be a guest house or a hostel. Please improve the way to access the hostel. You don’t get a key and have to ring the bell day and...
