I stayed at the Pullman in Jan 2020. I was there for three nights before traveling on to different areas of Myanmar. I will say it was a great stay. There was one hiccup during check-in. I had taken advantage of their best price guarantee via email prior to arrival and it seems that was not updated on the hotel’s end. I simply showed them the email I received prior to arrival and they fixed it painlessly.
I arrived in Yangon early, I had let me know in advance I would probably arrive at the hotel around 1300. They had my room ready! I was offered a welcome drink and a cool towel during check-in.
The rooms are gorgeous, HUGE tubs with great views of the park across the street. They also have GREAT amenities in their bathrooms.
I did not have breakfast or anything at the property so I am unable to comment on that.
The pool is nice, no view but quiet and peaceful. The water was a bit cool while I was there so I didn’t get in.
The location is great. You are steps from Sule Pagoda. You are a short walking distance from China Town and other great areas of downtown.
I would definitely stay here again. I notice some mention of cleanliness but I didn’t notice any issues during my stay. The windows maybe could have been washed on the outside but that was about it. Give them a try next time you are in Yangon, I don’t believe you will be...

Room has great lighting and is well designed, perfect environment for business need. Control switches are easy and air con works perfectly. Bathroom comes with all the usual amenities and shower has strong water pressure at least on the 10th floor where I stayed.
The difference between the entry level deluxe room and premier room is the latter is slightly bigger and comes with a coffee machine, rectangular sized table plus a partition between the toilet and shower spot, good features to have for less than 50usd more.
Services by staff at reception, the Italian restaurant, lobby amd spa is faultless. They are all friendly with smiles.
For business traveller, would absolutely recommend this hotel over Shangrila which is dated. For leisure traveller, would recommend this hotel unless you are willing to spend twice as much at the Strand or Rosewood which is in soft opening phrase.
In conclusion, would have been a perfect hotel if only they could heat up the swimming pool which is cold as fridge notwithstanding the...
Read moreThis is an outstandig Place! First of all - Location. Perfectly located in South Yangoon Colonial Quarter you reach many nice places and restaurants walking. Even junction city market is not far. The Hotel: is very modern but still cosy. Large rooms with similar bathrooms. Shower and tub sparated. Very nice pool area on the 5th floor with a bar. The Service: I travell a lot but I have never experienced so warm and generous service: When we had to cancell a reserved night due to a missing flight they would not charge us. And when we asked for a late checkout because our flight would leave at 2am, they let us stay in the room until we left for the airport. Thank you very much! The only thing I cannot comment on are the restaurants - but I am sure they are worth a visit. Conclusion: Among all the large Hotels in Yangoon this is the one you want to go to. I am not payed for this text - I simply feel...
