When we arrived, we were the first customers of the day, and the only customers there at the time. Staff and manager had nothing better to do other than stand around and stare stare at us without cessation, a typical experience with Indians, yet, something Nepalis don’t generally do because they know that it is extremely rude. The manager was seated only 2 tables away, rocking away away in his rocking office chair, and he was also just staring at us without any break, as if we just walked out of a spaceship. That’s when we just got up and left. The restaurant is dilapidated, with lights flashing and flickering due to disrepair. Overall it was a bit like a scene from a horror movie. For example,a simple plate of iddly is the cost of an average, excellent Nepali Thali, which is obviously 10 times the quantity of food of the 2 little iddly offered to customers here. We won’t be going back...

The seating space is decent, comfortably accommodating 20-25 people at a time, and the ambiance was pleasant. The staff were polite, but I hope they tone down the spice and oil in their dishes and reconsider...

The boss at the register had the least discernable personality I have ever experienced in my vast travels, counting money seems his only reason for existence... This was by far my most expensive and average meal in Kathmandu. The pics are of Momo and Chowmein, I also had a (cold) samosa and Dahl with a...
