Maitreya Homestay — Hotel in Lalitpur Metropolitan City

It’s definitely the most comfortable stay we had during our one month stay in Nepal 🧡

The host Chyawan and the whole family is super kind and hospitable, and he also shared a lot local information and knowledge with us. The house is newly renovated. Super modern and clean. The bathroom is huge and clean as well, with very nice hot water. I actually can’t believe this place has so few reviews. One of the best things about this homestay is how quiet it is. We stayed at many different hotel/inn/guest houses during our travels in Nepal and most (if not all) have very thin door with poor sound insulation. Not this place, we are just happy here.

部屋もすごく清潔でwifiもお湯も問題なく使えますし、本当に快適です。歴史のあるパタンで、利便性がありながらも、ゆっくりと滞在するにはぴったりだと思います。

今年9月に13年ぶりに2度目の訪問をしました。私はネパールが大好きですが、それはチーワンさんのご家族のおかげです。今回も家族とたわいのない話をして、ゆっくり過ごせました。毎日、世界遺産のダルバール広場まで散歩をして、早起きができれば、活気のある朝市に行き、地元の人と一緒にお茶を飲みました。歴史のあるパタンの街並みは美しく、町の人々も目が合うと「ナマステ」と笑顔で返してくれます。

またパタン以外にもチーワンさんは、ガイドブックに載っていないおすすめの場所を教えてくれます。おすすめされて行ってみた農村もすごく美しい場所でした。またパタンの生き神のクマリの家を訪問することもできました。

ネパールで滞在するのなら本当におすすめの場所です。ホテルにはない価値があります。今回も素晴らしい思い出...
