Nagarkot Shangrila Resort — Hotel in Mandandeupur

Visited Shangrila Resort located at Nagarkot with my love and friends. The staffs welcomed and took us to the reception where we confirmed our booking and took the keys. After changing and freshened up we went for welcome drinks.

Welcome drinks - we were served a packaged drink instead of fresh juice. It was definitely one of the worst juice I ever had

BBQ - We ordered chicken, pork and mutton BBQ and they were decent. The mutton BBQ was super spicy and we couldn't eat it. Hence, compared to the cost they are charging, definitely not worth it

Other snacks - Ordered Chicken chilly, Paneer pakauda. They were decent.

Dinner - there was no buffet. So it was disappointing and the dinner was not as tasty as we expected.

Room - Rooms were good but not as clean as it should be.

Breakfast - Again no buffet and the choice was limited. Only watermelon juice was available. Again dissatisfied and disappointed.

Hotel in a great location. Take rooms from 01-06 in any of the floor for the best view. If you are lucky, you will be able to see Mount Everest. Hotel has a great view, well cleaned and maintained. The furnitures are little old though, seems like dusty but they are just old. Hotel has great outdoor space to enjoy, have a party if you want. Good 3 star hotel in Nagarkot.
