Gusto Accommodation, Fewa Lake — Hotel in Pokhara

Truly special place. I fell in love with Gusto, their restaurant, and the entire Sedi hillside + lake so much I extended my stay here and tried out multiple rooms - Saturn, Venus, and Moon. (The AC is awesome btw!) By far Moon room was my favorite it is so spacious and nice with a tiny kitchenette. Great patio for smoking. Every room here has stunning views of Fewa lake and horses, water buffalo, cows grazing. The surrounding nature is so peaceful you will be feel zen every morning. The restaurant is so delicious! Most of the customers are local Nepali so you know the food is good. My favorite time to go is in the morning and early afternoon when it’s quiet, they play lo-fi music, and I journal read for hours.

This is the best place to stay at in Pokhara. I had booked it on Airbnb because the pictures looked so amazing but to be honest, the place looks even better in reality. The rooms are immaculate, the amenities are good and the beds are great. The interiors are tastefully done but what steals the heart is the view of the Phewa lake from the room window. I stayed in the Venus room. Rana is a great host. He escorted me to the room himself. The staff was very helpful. One of the best parts of this property is the hill top restaurant. There are a few stairs that lead up to the restaurant which has a panoramic view of the lake and Pokhara. The food at the restaurant was so delicious. I tried the traditional Nepali food for dinner and for breakfast I had the breakfast platter with pancakes, sausages, toast and fresh coffee. The coffee they served is a locally grown organic coffee. Also, you can a bicycle to ride around in Pokhara town form this place. It’s free! They also cared enough to hand me an umbrella since it looked like it would rain. This hotel exceeded my expectations.

It was my first time staying here for three nights with my family. The hotel is just a couple of minutes away from the lakeside, offering easy access to explore Fewa Lake. The breathtaking view and peaceful environment away from the noise were truly delightful.

We were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. The room was spotlessly clean and surprisingly spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing me to enjoy a restful night’s sleep with the AC on.

The bathroom was also pristine, with plenty of hot water. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and truly delicious.
