KC’s Home – A Truly Homely Experience
Our stay at KC’s Home in Chitwan was nothing short of heartwarming. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like part of their extended family. They went above and beyond to assist us with everything—from answering our many queries to arranging our safari packages and even helping us book a car ride to Pokhara.
The breakfast spread was another highlight. Whether you’re into à la carte options or prefer a buffet, the morning meal was both generous and delicious. The property is also strategically located, just a short distance from Chitwan National Park, making it a convenient base for wildlife adventures.
A special shoutout to Roshan, his colleagues, and the management team, whose warmth and professionalism truly stood out. Their genuine smiles and helpful attitude made our stay extra special. We also fell in love with their adorable dogs—one in particular was always smiling, and though we never caught its real name, we lovingly called it “Happy.”
One particularly memorable moment was when the staff performed a morning pooja. They even offered us Vibhuti as part of the ritual—a kind gesture we had to politely decline since we’d rushed down for breakfast and hadn’t yet showered!
It’s rare to find a place where everyone—from the management to the housekeeping team—seems genuinely happy to be there. KC’s Home lives up to its name and is truly a home...
Read moreI recently stayed at KC’s Home Hotel, and while the ambiance was pleasant, with a lovely garden and comfortable rooms, there were a few areas for improvement.
First, if you have an early departure, be aware that the 7 a.m. breakfast might not be ready on time. I requested coffee and hot chocolate, but the staff member responsible hadn’t arrived. My muesli and pancakes were also served late.
Communication at the front desk needs improvement. When I called, they answered casually with just “hello,” without any greeting or mentioning their name, which felt unprofessional.
During checkout, there was some confusion. They called housekeeping to check the minibar before finalizing my bill, but initially only charged for the room. After I mentioned the restaurant bill, they had to search for it. In the end, I asked them to charge my room and send me the bill later, which they did, and I paid promptly.
I also forgot my driver’s license, which had been taken for scanning at check-in. After realizing this, I called, and they assured me it would be sent to me the next day. I received my driver’s license very safely, which I appreciate.
Overall, while the hotel has a nice atmosphere, enhancing breakfast service, improving communication skills at the front desk, and streamlining the checkout process would significantly enhance the...
Read moreBooked for two nights, asked to leave after one. Unbelievable!! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you like surprise evictions and total lack of hospitality. Book at your own risk!!
We booked a two-night stay, arrived, checked in, and everything seemed fine—until later that night when we were suddenly told we had to leave the next morning because the hotel was “fully booked.” Excuse me?!
Why even accept a two-night booking if you can't honor it? So, instead of enjoying our trip, we spent the next day scrambling to find a new place to stay. Absolutely zero professionalism, zero...
