A couple of things to note on this excursion. The first being that it is a small water park inside of a hotel so don't book it expecting this huge thing that's going to take all day to go through. You'll be able to go through all the slides and everything in about 45 minutes. The water park consisted of a small water play area with several little water slides and dump buckets for the children and then right next to it a couple of large slides including this huge Cobra slide which was absolutely amazing. The small water park and all of the slides with the exception of the Cobra slide all kids and adults could take part in however for the Cobra slide please take note that it isn't a height requirement but rather an age requirement. You must be 15 to go down that water slide however I think that's a loose 15 because I definitely saw some children that were definitely younger going down that water slide. They do have a little bar that serves drinks both alcoholic and non. They have an amazing beach with a double swing chair that you can sit on and take pictures as well as l other really good photo spots to take pictures. They also have several pools that you can use too and their biggest one actually has a swim-up bar which is kind of interesting. This is an all-inclusive which means you do get a buffet lunch. At this buffet you will not find just your regular run-of-the-mill hamburgers and hot dogs. This Buffet had everything you could possibly imagine. There were bread areas, different salad areas which included regular salad, tuna salad, macaroni salad, and different types of salads. They had all types of chicken made in every type of way you could imagine, rice, beans, and do not get me started on the dessert section. I have been on many cruises and many buffets on different cruise lines and I was super impressed with what kind of food and drinks they served in this area as well as the level of cleanliness and the fact that they had so much space for everything and everyone. There were several areas to be seated. I didn't fight over the buffet line. I didn't have to fight over seating, getting desserts, or getting drinks. It was absolutely amazing. One thing to note is the buffet opens at 12:30. When we finished with the water park and we were headed to the buffet we met Ray who was part of the guest experience team and he was amazing. He was a wealth of knowledge regarding the island as well as the hotel and we spent our lunch time with him. I want to give him a big, big hug, a million thanks, and anything else I could possibly do because he was amazing. He was super kind, very courteous, and he helped me carry my stuff to the table. I have my two boys which means that I usually like to leave them sitting together at the table while I get everything but I was not prepared for the size of the buffet so he definitely assisted me with what I needed and definitely was able to answer many questions. He's very personable, amazing, and energetic. He was also very kind to my children which is amazing to me because I have a rambunctious 5 year old and an autistic 17 year old. Another note for all of my fellow travelers, the water park is inside of the Corendon Hotel. This hotel actually has two different sides and all that I have mentioned here in this post is on the Corendon hotel. The other side is actually, according to Ray, a much quieter, calmer type of area. I didn't get to see that side because our excursion only allowed for us to visit the side that we were on but that's what he told us about the other side so in case you are flying in and not on an excursion or you want to do it by yourself you can see that other side!!!

Giving this review a 3/5 because my young kids absolutely loved the hotel and had a blast, but we made sure to not share our complaints with them, otherwise would have given this hotel a 1/5 stars. The setting is beautiful, I’ve never seen such clear, blue, warm waters, the hotel has so much potential to be 5 stars. However, do not let the photos on the website lead you to believe that it is. From Day 1, there was very little friendliness. The Staff seemed annoyed we were there. We experienced everything from seeing a huge (physical) fight between grown men on the pool deck while families were still in it swimming, a water main break leaving our floor flooded with little help from any Staff, toilet smelling from Day 1 before we’d even used it, towels and sheets given with holes and blood stains on them, difficulty finding clean seating during buffet hours with a lack of silverware to even eat, kids slamming into each other on the waterslides which were just barely monitored, above all just a lack of cleanliness, dirty dishes and plates left everywhere , by the pool, in the pool (we would often be swimming, and a dirty spoon, or fork would float by), cigarettes on the beach, broken boards on the main pool deck with rusted nails coming out, etc. There were often tiny bugs, fruit flies possibly inside of the pastry case at the Mondi cafe. I can understand when food is left out, flies will come, but these were enclosed inside the case, not outside. The rooms aren’t fully cleaned, they do not clean bathroom glasses or replace them, we were only given a few towels which wasn’t enough, and we ran out of body wash, it was never replaced, even though I left the empty one by the trash, I had to go outside and find it in a housekeeping cart. The buffet was gorgeous and the food delicious but with the lack of cleanliness surrounding it, grown adults just grabbing it with their dirty hands plus no clean tables to eat, it ruined the experience. We made dining reservations each night and glad that was an option. I picked up so much broken glass, on the beach, on the pool deck, and my last straw was on my seat at the buffet of the Rif. We told Staff, they didn’t clean it nor seem to care. I I have no idea who left the broken glass, but still cleaned it up myself, so nobody would step on it. If a child was there, they wouldn’t have checked and have sat on it. We tried to use the hotel amenities, play pickleball and darts, and not one Staff member knew where the darts or racquets were. We are finally told to go to the activity desk, because that’s where they were, and nobody was there, we walked over multiple times a day. If you are expecting a five star luxury hotel, this is not it, and it should be advertised for what it is. The Rif side is a bit nicer and I’d recommend going there if you have to choose. However keep in mind the Rif pool is super deep, not ideal for kids, and it’s still the same shared facilities so you’ll run into the same issues. As a Hilton Gold member I am baffled this is allowed to be called a Curio luxury hotel. It is certainly not. We are grateful for the few friendly Staff we did encounter but unfortunately that was not the norm.

I stayed at this property from August 13–16, 2025, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and unsafe. Upon arrival, the first room I was given was dirty and unacceptable for check-in. I was only upgraded because of this issue—not as a courtesy, but out of necessity. For the next three days, I reported that the air conditioning unit was not working, making my room uncomfortable. Despite repeated complaints, no resolution was provided during my stay. While on property, I slipped and fell at the bar due to water spillage on the floor with no safety signs posted. This presented a serious hazard, and the lack of preventative measures showed negligence in guest safety. Additionally, my husband became ill during the stay, and the hotel failed to demonstrate adequate concern or service recovery. The hotel also did not honor the $40/day credit that was initially offered to my bill as compensation. Instead, after multiple follow-ups and delays, I was offered a future room upgrade, a cabana credit that I never used, and later Hilton Honors points. However, none of this resolves the fact that the property failed to deliver on its initial promise or provide proper accountability for the issues I experienced. Communication was poor throughout, and follow-up from management was delayed and dismissive, which only added to the frustration. Overall, this hotel did not meet the Hilton brand standard in cleanliness, safety, or customer service. I strongly caution other travelers to carefully consider these issues before booking

HORRIBLE ALL INCLUSIVE We had the nicest room and you'd think since that being the case check-in would have been on time. After standing in line for 15min just waiting to check in, we were told the room wasn't ready. Since traveling from 0200 the same day with a 5 yr old it was frustrating that our room wasn't ready. Almost 2 hrs went by with nothing offered. Finally got to our room on the 1 working elevator to the 7th floor. We were starving so tried to go to one of the restaurants, but you cannot unless you book a reservation the day before and there was nothing else open. Finally we went to the Buffet that doesn’t open till 1900. Buffet wasn't very good but the only option at that time. The internet was horrible barely worked at all, and the app to use does not work without internet. First two nights we weren't even able to get a dinner resv. The only way to accomplish this is to stand in line at 1000 and book a reservation for the following day in the lobby. There is zero help from hotel personnel. After two days we put the clean room on the door knob and they ended up putting a stained pillow case on and took all our dirty towels. However they did not replace with clean towels! Called the front desk immediately, it rings they put you on hold and then the phone just hangs up. Trust me I tried plenty of times and even on the hotel floor phone because I needed a towel to shower. The next morning I told the front desk I needed towels and said they'd be right up, didn't show up for almost 8 hrs. Only resv we were able to make was at the BBQ place. They have the grill facing the wind direction which blows smoke the entire time at the guests trying to eat, we noticed it happening every night. Finally ordering, I've never experience an all inclusive where your waitress tells you what your table is having to eat. There were 5 of us, I so asked for an extra order of brisket for the table and were told no it comes on the platter. None of us even ever received our salads, we all got one drink each for the entire dinner, and the waitress just brought out some inedible appetizer for the table to share. Staff are never smiling or say good morning or absolutely anything to you.Even the hostess at the buffet, doesn't even look up at you. The workers look extremely unhappy and constantly hiding away or looking down on their phones. I have multiple pictures of proof of all of this. Water park looked nice, so decided we would try that out. It was nice for the most part although a few things of the water park area for kids weren’t working. However there is no supervision of anything, which is just wild to me. My parents thankfully were staying at the resort as well, so can attest to all of this, and were keeping an eye on our 5 year old while I tried to get a rental car for the following day. I’m not sure if there’s a sharp edge on the slide or what the issue but my 5 year old had a huge gash open on his chin bleeding profusely. My wife grabbed a towel holding it on the wound, and we started heading to the lobby to figure out what to do. We got there a guy told us to scan the QR code outside the medical room. We explained THE INTERNET DOES NOT WORK, and that what good is the QR? He explained we could consult a doctor. We didn’t need to consult a doctor we needed a bandage/something to stop the bleeding! Thankfully another gentleman from the lobby came over and was more understanding, even though scaring my son saying he needed stitches. He then stated “oh is there no one in here?” To our shock there was a nurse behind the tinted glass medical room the whole time listening to this! Maybe she was too focused on Social Media apps because when we walked in later she was on FB.Thankfully she used Steristrips to close the wound though and in the meantime contacted a doctor. I could go on even more from unsanitary issues with the buffet, room, plunge pool we had, and cleanliness over all of the resort to scheduling of events for kids and not even showing up, to loose wires hanging in common areas. I WILL NEVER BE BACK...

Upon Arrival I was greeted by Ali and Shena. Shena made me aware of all the benefits of staying, like where to get food, as my flight was severely delayed. While I was talking to Shena, Ali came back with a complimentary cocktail to welcome me, and he held my bags until my room was ready. While Shena was telling me all about the resort, she helped me add WhatsApp as a way to communicate with the front desk/concierge to make reservations for everything! Shena and her team did it all. It was so easy and convenient.||I booked a King Bed with a partial ocean view. PERFECTION. The room was huge, and the natural light was perfect. HUGE balcony with two chairs, and enough room for a lounger or two.|I went to Coco Pool Bar to find some food and drink. I met Chunalies, a very sweet bartender. What impressed me the most was that she thanked me for my patience, as the bar was busy and it made an impression. Chunalies was always super pleasant and worked fast. She also had me try a few of the bar’s specialties. Definitely a strong asset to your team.||Maya (Mexican) –The food was good. I had the ceviche, chicken enchilada, barbacoa tacos, and churros for dessert. I was bummed when the ceviche portion for 1, was tiny and came with only 1 chip, when the tables with 2 guests received a bowl of chips. The service was a little off, but the food made up for it.||Tavern (Seafood) – My favorite spot. My server both days was Carella. Carella made me feel so at home! She made my dining experience great. Making suggestions to me about which foods to try. The seafood soup, grilled salmon, and the peach dessert were delectable.||Pera Lobby Bar – This was the only bar I found that had Stoli Vodka, so I frequented it a great deal. Service was always with a smile, and very fast.||The Beach –Shena informed me I could use my AMEX credit towards a Cabana. I booked the Luxury Cabana, which came with a complimentary bottle of champagne, soft drinks. The attendant Sideney was great too! I ordered the chicken Caesar salad which was fresh and yummy. The cabana is a great experience.||There were a few hiccups, but nothing that was overly horrible. Housekeeping fell off on the weekends, with 1 night not cleaning my room at all, and a broken A/C unit that wasn’t addressed for 24 hours.||Overall, I would definitely visit the Mangrove Corendon Hilton again, and would recommend it to others. The value of the experience, especially AWESOME staff, and beautiful beaches, makes this a MUST SEE when visiting Curacao.||Lastly, I would like to take a moment to express my appreciation to a few staff members.|I want to make sure these fine folks are recognized.||MVP (Most Valuable Person) – Shena at the front desk. Every day Shena worked, she went above and beyond, checking in with me via the app, to make sure my stay was going well. Shena really cares about the guest experience more than I have seen in a long time, and if it weren't for Shena, I don’t think my stay would have been as great!|If Shena is not already a manager, you should consider it, because Shena IS what all staff should be. It takes only a few seconds to check on guests and make sure their day is going well. Shena did that and you could tell she really cared. Shena not only answered questions but also ensured effective communication.||Fast & Friendly – Ali the Bellman was great. Always greeted me with a smile and something nice to say. Ali told me about the many great things to do on Curacao and the best way to do it. His recommendations were invaluable.||Most Welcoming – Carella at the Tavern Restaurant – Carella was absolutely wonderful! Making me feel welcomed and the recommendations made my experience great! She was so friendly and sweet. I was glad to have met her.||Service with a Smile – Chunalies at the Pool Bar – Every day Chunalies greeted me with a smile and was just so happy! She is an expert at making those fruity drinks, and it’s always a...

The attendant Sideney was great too! I ordered the chicken Caesar salad which was fresh and yummy. The cabana is a great experience.

Fast & Friendly – Ali the Bellman was great. Always greeted me with a smile and something nice to say. Ali told me about the many great things to do on Curacao and the best way to do it. His recommendations were invaluable.

Most Welcoming – Carella at the Tavern Restaurant – Carella was absolutely wonderful! Making me feel welcomed and the recommendations made my experience great! She was so friendly and sweet. I was glad to have met her.

Service with a Smile – Chunalies at the Pool Bar – Every day Chunalies greeted me with a smile and was just so happy! She is an expert at making those fruity drinks, and it’s always a...
