This was my 2nd time visiting Curaçao. We just vibed in the port and enjoyed the sights. We did a lot of exploring in other ports and we didn't have the energy to go too far. The mall is very accessible. There are some nice booths along the way, but literally follow everyone to the right and through the buildings and there's an even bigger selection of affordable stores.

The older lady in the We ❤️ Curaçao (?) store felt the need to follow me AROUND the busy store, but I gave her a nice chase for her efforts and walked in needless circles. You wanna be funny, watch me be HILARIOUS. It's the store that has the towels, keychains and a raised platform to the left of the shirts for the register. The glass window faces tote bags? Trust, you'll know her when you see her.

I otherwise had a great time in the port watching the sea creatures on the rocks and walls.

Not sure why they advertise ChiChis and Serena's gallery where you can actually BUY them is WAY across the bridge, but NOT in the port. They should definitely fund selling the figurines IN the port. We saw the 2 statues, but there was NOwhere to buy them?

It's great sitting at the bars to watch the water. The stores closest to the ship next to the cigar place all sell Pepsi. It's $2 each tho for a can. It was $1 each for a skinny bottle in Amber Cove, DR, so there's that.

The views are beautiful here and you don't have to go far to have a good time. Read the maps provided and they'll get you where you need to go without a paid excursion needed.

No Dunkin's, but the mall has a Starbucks. Go to the red roof buildings that makeup the mall and take a left at the open park without actually going into said mall. It's the next street over. See the red roof in my pic, the buildings should be on your right and the cruise port on your left. It's the first street you'll see. Starbucks is on the corner. I don't drink coffee, but plenty...

Curacao Cruise Port is a gem in the Caribbean, captivating visitors with its vibrant atmosphere and seamless blend of history and modernity. Nestled within the colorful capital of Willemstad, the port welcomes cruise-goers with an array of charming shops, cafes, and historic architecture.

The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Punda, with its iconic pastel-colored buildings lining the waterfront, creates a picturesque backdrop for cruise passengers exploring the port. Strolling across the Queen Emma Bridge, a floating pontoon bridge, adds a touch of novelty to the experience.

The port's efficiency is commendable, ensuring smooth disembarkation and embarkation processes for cruise guests. Excursion options abound, allowing visitors to delve into the island's rich culture, visit the famous Hato Caves, or simply bask on the pristine beaches.

Local vendors offer authentic crafts and souvenirs, providing an opportunity for travelers to take a piece of Curacao's charm home with them. The welcoming locals contribute to the overall warmth of the port, enhancing the sense of a genuine Caribbean experience.

Curacao Cruise Port stands out for its fusion of Caribbean allure and practicality, making it a delightful stop for cruise enthusiasts eager to explore a destination that seamlessly combines history, culture, and...

This Review is to Avis which is located on MegaPier but not marked separate. Anyways, the story is that on Nov 28/2017 we made a reservation 1 month ago, all was set and I also have an email conformation and also confirmed appointment with a stuff. All was pretty much set perfectly from my side as I am not renting 1st time in my life.

Once we arrived from our Cruise, we went to the office where actually was other 2 couples and had same issue as we. The problem was that they said, we sold your reservation to others and we don’t have anymore cars, sorry, you have to go to Budget :( WOW!!! What is this???? How is it possible?? What kind of organization is it? So pretty much all our driving plans, we planned in advance were ruined due we couldn’t get a car from Avis who sent us to Budget, who didn’t have cars as well.

At least let me know in advance, sorry but due to some condition your reservation is canceled so I can plan something else in advance, for instance - excursions from the shore and etc.

AVIS IN CURACAO IS THE...

Curaçao and its cruise port in Willemstad, the capital, is an island with a rare charm, stunning colonial architecture, impeccably clean and kept and very comfortable to explore. Cruise visitors will find most services and amenities are in the open air terminal next to the Mega Pier; information booth, restrooms, taxi stand and tour-operator stand. Spanning the St. Anna Bay, the Queen Emma, or also known as the "Swinging Old Lady," is a floating pedestrian bridge that connects Willemstad's two halves, Punda and Otrobanda. Built in 1888, the Queen Emma Bridge is supported by 16 pontoon boats and swings open laterally to allow ships to enter and leave the bay. Visitors who cross the bridge into the Punda district will find Fort Amsterdam, the majority of colorful buildings and much more shopping and restaurants. Keep your camera charged as this is THE place for photography!

Free wifi! We were the second ship to dock at the new Pier which is adjacent to the old Pier. It's an incredibly long walk from the new pier to the kiosks at the old Pier so if you're disabled this would be very hard to do. We found the heat made it difficult for most people. Luckily they did have lots of seating up on the way and it was covered so it was shaded. Once again we were besieged by tour operator's still we paid half the price as the ship and kept running into other passengers from our ship at the stops. Originally we waited in a nice air conditioned bus but we're later moved to one with open windows :(. Our host Margaret was very knowledgeable and a real treasure.
