Gardena Court Motel — Hotel in Hamilton

the location was great with bus stop at the door, Our room was the 2 bedroon unit the lounge was ok except the blue 2 seaters they very worn and very hard to get out of and you sink to the floor in them, The kitchen was well equiped but needed a good clean as the oven was not that clean the top was not bad , the bed rooms where ok but the beds were hard and not that comfy. we had separate toilet which was great The bathroom needs a good clean as it has very bad mould around the bath and some of the tiles and the window ledge needs a lick of paint as it was black. But over all this unit could be good with a bit of T L C, I hope the spa pool is now up and running again as that was broken and about to...

Great little place with great prices, a very knowledgable and helpful owner, and super comfy beds! We stayed here an extra day longer than we'd planned because it was just perfect for a sightseeing vacation of Hamilton, NZ. Close to downtown and the harbor area, walking distance from grocers, wine and liquor stores and exceptional restaurants. Our rooms were spotless, had tons of hot water for showering, and were very well maintained. Anyone who wants a great night's sleep for a lovely price should check out this motel. We were not given the unit that we had booked and paid for some time prior. The motel was full so had to wait until next day to change units which was inconvenient but the reason given seemed to be valid. The second unit was not as well presented as the first. The shower was very dated and the front drapes, the first thing that is seen on arrival were very poorly hung and appear to have come from elsewhere as they were far too long. No can opener. Both units were very clean and well serviced. The hot water in the unit was way hotter than approved safe limits...so thankful that our grandchildren were...
