We stayed here the nights before and after a 2 night trip away at Abel Tasman National Park. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and let us keep valuables in their safe and store luggage with them whilst we were away. We were allocated different rooms on each of the nights, a Courtyard Studio at first, and then a Harbourview Studio when we returned. Both were comfortable and spacious with a nice little area for food preparation. In the Harbourview it was particularly nice to have a small balcony where we could relax in the evening overlooking the harbour. Everywhere is exceptionally clean. It is a little way out of the town, however, there is a nice riverside walk which will take you there in 10/15 minutes. It was also great to have a continental breakfast included, with a good selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toasting breads, jams and tea/coffee.

At first look the bright yellow exterior is quirky, but let it nor deter you from what is a really well managed property. Belinda is thoughtful, attentive, prompt and efficient. Thank you for our warm welcome, super clean rooms, and the magnificent view of the marina. We really appreciated how well kept and clean our rooms were. Beds were so plush and comfortable and air-conditioning perfect. Loved that the rooms had SkyTV. Our stay included breakfast and I must say that in all my travels around Aotearoa this was one of the neatest and thoughtfully laid out motel breakfasts...simple but fresh and the attention to GF eaters like myself was very much appreciated. Definitely a property we will recommend to friends or ne back for when next in Nelson.

My wife & I traveled all throughout New Zealand for our honeymoon (mid-March 2025). The Nelson area kicked off our trip and we’re very happy we chose this as our lodging selection. Despite the small/tight lot, we never had issues parking a larger SUV vehicle. Staff was very friendly, nice harbor views (especially sunrise/sunset) and a nice continental breakfast selection. Location is a little bit away from things, but still very peaceful and elegant in its surroundings. Would definitely recommend! 😊

We stayed in the disability wheelchair friendly unit (5 I think) for 1 night as we were wrapping up our road trip of the South Island. The hotel staff is friendly and tries to be helpful. They allowed us a late checkout which we appreciated. The included breakfast was also appreciated. We had to bring our breakfast to our room since the breakfast room was upstairs and my wheelchair confined wife could not climb the stairs. The grab bat for the toilet is on the right side. The roll in shower could mean issues for some travelers. The motel had a fold down shower bench but it was mounted on the same wall as the shower controls. To use the bench would mean the user would be faced opposite and away from the shower controls. Don't know if there is a way to remount the bench on a side wall which would give the user a reasonable chance to use the controls. For us though, it was not an issue as we brought our own shower stool so we could bypass the installed shower bench. Overall, though, we found the motel met our needs very well. Our room overlooked the harbor which was nice. There is not much else around the motel so a car would be very helpful to an...

As the name suggests you are right on the water when you stay here. Our room was sparklingly clean and fresh when we arrived. Features are a comfy king size bed and really big bathroom with detachable shower head in the shower. Eco friendly push button soaps as well as regular soap and shampoo provided|Tea and coffee are quality and two packs of welcome biscuits are in the kitchen area|The fridge is pretty small but there is a good sized toaster and kettle. A free continental breakfast is offered in the upstairs breakfast room|Not all the guest rooms have views of the harbour|Ours was the carpark|Also the air came in through the window or sliding door in the glass wall of our room that ran along the first floor balcony. Block out curtains also blocked out the fresh air and with the curtains open there was not much privacy when others went by on the balcony.. alternatively we could have just used the ac unit and closed the curtains|The location was just a few minutes drive to the centre of Nelson|Staff are very friendly and helpful|There is a washer and dryer are fresh water to top up and encourage reusing water bottles|Would stay again but opt for a...
