Absolutely spectacular accommodations in the heart of Granada. English speaking staff, great food, wifi on site... this "foundation" run hotel supports the children of the local community with their education. 100% of the profits is used to help put local kids through school and their university.
An idea to directly support the local community through tourist dollars sparked the creation of this property, built in roughly 2007 or 8.
Our photo travel tour stayed here a few days in Granada prior to leaving for a community on the upper north coast near Chinandega. Our guests all gave high recommendations for everything at Hotel Con Corazon.
On site is a tutoring room where children are tutored or taught.
With a small little pub connected (the lobby once the main doors are locked), serves beer and spirits along with the specials of the day, a Nica Libra, Pina Colada or Mojito, the mint for which grows a few feet away in the courtyard.
Pool on site, clean and tended. AC in all the rooms and just a fantastic energy about the place.
Stay here.

Read moreI’m sorry it has taken me so long to leave a review for this lovely little place in the old town of Granada. My husband and I stayed here in Dec 2017. We absolutely loved the bar area and Lyndon the Aussie manager who was also a wicked bar man and barista and could whip up a brilliant flat white and a cocktail at your leisure! It was clean and quiet and well furnished and decorated. The location is perfect for exploring Granada safely. Our only small gripe was our room was on the ground floor and the only window was coming out onto the main walkway to reception which meant we had to have our curtains constantly drawn for privacy so it had a very dark feel to it. Otherwise we have no hesitation recommending this hotel! Thanks for a...
Read moreThis hotel is absolutely lush. The decor is lovely and the gardens and pool area are really just amazing. There are all sorts of styles of hammock to lie in and bed to lay on. I really loved the decor of this very chilled hotel. The service is awesome and the front desk very helpful, especially with booking you on to trips. I did the kayaking, walking tour and Masaya volcano. The walking tour was disappointing and a waste of money but the other tours were great. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. You order from a menu and have three courses. My shower was a disappointment though. It was only cold water a small trickle, makes it hard to wash off suncream. But the bed was huge, pillows comfortable and plentiful, towels soft and nice toilet paper. I really liked staying here. The placement means you can walk everywhere...
