This place is stylish and well thought out (even the chef looks cool with his Handlebar moustache)

You forget you’re in Nicaragua for a moment if it wasn’t for the smiling, accommodating staff reminding you with their Nica warmth

The fare is modern European using local ingredients with a limited menu - as ever good restaurant should have - of around four to five options in each section We went for a starter, vegetable, main plato and of course dessert to share

We opted for meat this time round, but looking forward to try the seafood next time

The flavours were delicate yet packed a punch. The lamb was tender and sophisticated while feeling like a wholesome hug in a skillet and the vegetables were al dente with an extra crunchy twist: green beans with battered tiny onions and crispy bacon hints. The frangipani pecan pie to finish was bursting with nuts and warming, autumn flavours

And get this… even the wine is was good! The best copa de vino tinto we’ve had in Nicaragua. Too bad we were driving back to Managua and couldn’t enjoy more.

Our server Danilo was most gracious and made the evening complete with his warm smile and attentive service

We sat in the courtyard by the fountain, enjoying the little thoughtful touches throughout the restaurant that made it stand out

As it was the evening, my camera didn’t do the place justice in the low lighting so I haven’t added any pictures. Instead go ahead and try it for yourself for any small celebration - you...

The atmosphere of this restaurant great, the decoration is well done and the staff were super attentive and kind. We went there due to lack of restaurant options in the city, and we had eaten at Garden cafe several times already. We were a group of 6 and ordered almost all the items in the menu. The food was highly presented, but most of the dishes were ok, nothing wow. At this price point there’s room for improvement (this place is priced 2x or 3x all other dining restaurants in the city). The food is 3 star or 4 star at best. The main reason I’m giving a 3 star was the Tri tip dish. The dish was suppose to be tritip beef, but instead it was thin sliced cold cuts. So after I had one piece, I asked the server if this dish is suppose to be served cold? And he said yes and offered to take it away. After a few minutes, he came back with the dish saying they won’t remove it from our check. I mean either leave the food on the table, or if you take it away don’t bring it back :D like basic stuff. Needless to say we spent almost 500$ US that night so it was kinda unnecessary to make a scene like that.

All in all, our favorite dish was the potato fries, they were done very well. The fish, the lamb stew, the steak, were all good/Ok...

We had the most beautiful and delicious dinner here this evening and cannot express how fantastic it was.

My partner is vegan and the restaurant was incredibly accommodating to her, specifically making some special dishes and adapting many on the menu to be vegan friendly.

All of the food was exceptional, we had plantain, grilled aubergine, steak and an aubergine vegan special - all was absolutely delicious and the steak was by far one of the best I’ve ever had.

From the second we arrived the service was exceptional, the staff helped guide us through the menu very clearly and checked in regularly to make sure all was good.

There’s a really amazing drinks and cocktails menu and in the courtyard setting it felt really special and memorable.

We ordered 2 small plates, two mains and drinks and the overall total cost was around £70 GBP which in comparison to the UK (where we are from) is absurdly good value considering the standard of food coming from this amazing kitchen. We came away feeling very comfortably full!

If you’re in Granada GO HERE! Perfect date night or treat dinner spot. Huge thank you to the staff at NM Culinary, that was a meal we will...

The best restaurant in nicaragua! I have been looking for a place like this, for a long time. This place goes beyond the boundaries, and delivers food that is different, with high-quality ingredients, and very damn tasty. I was reading some of the bad reviews and some people don’t understand price, taste, and quality. Obviously to have high-quality tasty food, costs, the restaurant, more money, which will increase prices on the menu. The quality of food compared to the price on the menu is unbelievable anywhere in the world. Especially here in Nicaragua where some of these food items are ridiculously expensive to buy. I greatly appreciate a restaurant like this, going above and beyond and making something special. Every single food item and cocktail we had was a 10 out of 10 stars. Nothing was bad here. The lamb and the mezcal signature cocktail was my favorite. I do not know anybody that works here, I just appreciate this place. I think everything was perfect, even the customer service is fast and quick. I was here when it was slow, so I don’t know how the customer service is when it’s busy. Right now, this is the best restaurant in Nicaragua!

The good: the server and ambiance and design of the restaurant was beautiful, they also gave us free ice cream at the end to try, 3 scoops: one gelato, two alcohol infused ice creams, we also order a soufflé for desert and it was very delicious The bad: The food honestly sucked, the flavours were strong and bitter, I ordered the egg plant which was a bland gelatinous mess along with 3 different sauces which all had very strong disgusting flavours My friend ordered the quail ravioli which tasted like winter green chewing gum in the US, it was very artificial and disgusting, my other friend ordered the steak and this was the only acceptable part of the dish I would not eat here again for the flavours and serving size they do nothing new and the food tastes fairly disgusting especially for the price The flavours are way too strong not balanced especially for how expensive it is, unfortunately I only read the good reviews before coming here which, made me think the food was going to be exceptional and I was thoroughly disappointed. The food is definitely 1/5

I loved my experience at NM Culinary!! I’ve mostly been eating at small, local places so I was excited for the chance to have a more upscale dining experience. The service was excellent- my mesero Allan did a great job explaining the menu, offering suggestions, etc. I love the decor, playlist, overall ambience. Dinner started with a pan masa madre, a spreadable cheese, and jam. WOW. The pan was so soft inside with a nice seasoning on the crust of the bread…I knew then that I was going to enjoy the rest of the meal. I had the beef medallions with vegetables, mango cheesecake dessert, and a gin cocktail with Frangelico. The tenderloin was seasoned perfectly and the vegetables were presented/prepared like a lasagna with multiple layers - I’d never seen that! The cocktail was a really lovely addition to the meal - and the mango cheesecake was delicious. The mango topping really set it off for me. Sure - it’s pricey compared to most options here in Granada, but for a special night out or a more upscale dinner, it’s totally worth it!!
