This hotel needs a LOT of improvements. My recent stay at the hotel makes me think that the Google ratings are mostly fake. The staff appeared unhappy. The lady who sat at the kitchen entrance was so rude and unprofessional (Evening of April 19, 2021). Bathrooms are not clean and need a lot of repairs What are those glass wines doing, collecting dusts underneath the table in front of the kitchen? You must be a very dirty person to not be disgusted by the sight of wine glasses in that open, dusty environment. Food is terrible and overpriced. You can get better and cheaper foods at eateries. The entire hotel needs maintenance and upgrades. I was surprised when I learned that the owner actually works there and oversees the day-to-day running of the hotel. He really needs to focus on long term sustainability of the business and spend on improvements now. What is that empty, un-used confectionery display glass doing in front of the kitchen, collecting dusts? Why can’t it be removed to free up some space...

Solid structure: you would clearly see that it's an investment intended to last well over years because of the quality of it's decor and fittings However I will assume that their housekeeping department is short staffed because they seem to be struggling to maintain cleanliness.

As at check-in, the air that greeted us as we stepped into the reception was humid and smelt like overnight sweat

I guess the elevator was down for a bit because we were led to our room on the 2nd floor through the stairs. The staircase is rugged yet was so dirty that we could see dirt and shoe sand on almost every step. It definitely looked like it has been omitted in any form of recent cleaning.

We were greeted by a clean well dressed male receptionist but I am not sure why 2 other male staff dressed in dirty looking sleeping kaftans walked in and 1 of them sat confidently and the other stood thereby crowding their front desk.
