The road leading here is so full of deep pot holes no bike comes through. Cab man will charge extra. UPDATED: they’ve been trying hardly last two days to fill in the massive holes!

Even though the booking online for luxury room states breakfast for 2 and free welcome drink they refuse to honor it even with Travelocity trying to call the hotel and email them insist they never got anything. It’s very close to the airport which is nice, however what is pictured isn’t always what’s given upon arrival. The food is decent. The breakfast buffet is decent however 90% of the food is cold. If you decide to make a plate and take it to your room they will charge you since you didn’t eat in the buffet room. 1 time I try to get water during breakfast in my own cup I was told it’s complimentary only and can’t do that….(I was just eating breakfast and didn’t get any water when I was eating). Every time you leave the property they deactivate your key card and don’t tell you when you arrive back, only to find out when you walk back up to the top floor to have to go back down to get it activated. They need to update the bedding and the menu. If you would like a quiet place this is definitely it since it’s a small hotel. Would I stay here again…definitely not! Couldn’t leave due to other places being fully booked that’d be more accommodating to foreigners. They do have security at the entrance that’s a big plus to feel safe, However next time the booking better reflect what the website shows! Do better to keep guest coming back. Booked the room for 9 nights....

Story time - it was a Friday night after TGIF more like Saturday morning 5:30 hung up after all the driving clubbing and of course alcohol now the Children of God needed food thanks to my buddy Prince Kamal, who said he will take me somewhere right there in gra ikeja after we left the vault nightclub. Lo and behold it was my Square Hotel we went straight to the restaurants met this really nice guy on duty. we placed our order yes it was Ogbono soup and pounded yam... it was ready in 25 minutes but because of the hunger was Deep I had the nice guy check on the kitchen like 3 times before it was ready it was the right choice it went down very very well I also checked out the executive suit which was 38k but this night was not for that they were all the friendly people who are using the pool just found out the day if not then check out the food give the chef pay raise me big smiling. Good customer service, no doubt. But I guess that’s the only good thing going for them. Word of advice, in whatever you do, avoid their standard rooms! The window opens to a terrible sight, toilet seat is bad, water heater is leaking…with some of their ridiculous workers gathering behind the room to make calls and noise. Don’t get me started on the presence of ants both on the table and the bed. Wish I could be petty and record the noisemakers. Couldn’t get the concentration needed to prepare for my exam.

Oh by the way, I’m writing this review from inside one of their rooms…requested an upgrade to a better room far from these noisy workers and was declined. A big NO for me, I must confess!! If there’s a rating less than 1 star, that’s...
