Update !!

So there has been serious renovations and to be honest , I really like their burger , it’s good and it’s fast .

Off recently the problem is that , nothing on the menu is actually available most of the times.

Yesterday again I went at 8pm . The only thing available on the little menu they have is the straight chicken .

No Shakes , No other burger , people were coming in and going out disappointed. Some from far as well.

Not even fries were available . Now this is mismanagement on highest levels .

The staff on the other hand always looks so not interested. There are some good people trust me , but the ladies over there ! Oh my God on several occasions I have felt like asking them like Ssup ? Why are you even carrying this burden ? Is someone forcing you to be here ? Like For real , they would be casually Having a phone conversation while you are trying to order , one even rushed me to quickly decide . I addressed that immediately then and there .

There is so much potential in this Joint ! It’s just being wasted, very soon if paid no attention it will definitely start seeing the negative side of this .

I hope you people see this criticism as a point to be focused more on delivering the goodness as you did previously when you people started !

Burg was the thing ! I really want the old days to come back .

Paid and waited 45 minutes at 1 am and after the wait time . They said there is no burger . That we should go. That they can’t even refund my money ! They said I should come another day. I asked for the managements number and they said they can’t give me and even after persisting they did not give it . Highly disappointed and disgusted !!! If the management sees...

Firstly being a Food and restaurant critic means spotting everything a regular person would manage at a restaurant. And to me a good restaurant experience goes beyond the food to the right ambience, service, space and much more. This is a very unbiased review as I’ve been to Burg multiple times in the past and had a good experience (2 years back tho).

From my recent experience it’s clearly NOT what it used to be. I love the idea of an artsy space but maintaining it or rather keeping it CLEAN is one of the basics. Burg was very dirty during my visit guys and I truly find that appalling for a business that sells food. I visited around 11 at or so on a public holiday so any restaurant open is willing to accept visitors. There was a disgusting chair that still irks me- I don’t know if it was mold or the chair wearing out but it was disgusting 🤢. The roof, let’s not even get started on this, the restroom, the beeper, the dirty walls here and there..........GEEZ!

I understand that we Nigerians would help you mess up your restaurant when we visit but that’s the whole point of renovating and continually maintaining a space, long story short this spot is due for a renovation.

The staff that attended to me seemed very unprofessional, if they were polite or approachable this review would probably have gone to them.

The burger tasted alright tho but I can’t ignore a dirty space.

All ye Burg lovers, come and explain...

First time there and I must say I really enjoyed the time spent.

My rating would be based on the ambience, the meal and the service.

The ambience: The location was easy to find. Upon arrival, the meal is visible from the entrance. As we entered, the sitting arrangement was OK, although the sitting area outside was hot (the AC) wasn't working but inside was OK.

The inside was somewhat noisy as there were a group of guys working there making it noisy. I loved the sitting arrangement, reminded me of school but it was cozy.

The Meal: I ordered for Single burg without cheese, Salt fries and Ronald drum smoothie. I really enjoyed the fries with the barbeque sause (it was DIVINE) they have the best fries (argue with your keypad 🤣)

The Ronald drum smoothie was great (coming from a non smoothie lover) the smoothie is a combination of Mango, Orange, ingredients X and Y.

The meal was very filling and I must say it was worth the try.

The Service: the service was great, the lady that was attending to us had a very lovely smile and she also made sure we were OK on our table.

Immediately you order, a device is given to you, this device flashes when your order is ready (how awesome and innovative) as soon as the device flashes, you are to go get your food at a designated area.

All in all, it was worth the try and I'm DEFINITELY going back to try...
