I had a horrible experience at the Orchid restaurant yesterday. I visit here often and I went in yesterday to dine with Family. After the Family Dinner, I went into my Car to drive off and unfortunately for me I could not see behind me clearly while i was trying to reverse and get a bit of clearance to leave the premises. The parking area was really dark and I was relying on the support of the Security/Gate man who was supposed to help me look out for any obstacle behind me, as with most parking spaces in Lagos at night. Apparently the Gate man was drunk and he could not signal me to stop as I was reversing till I hit a Mercedez Benz car parked behind me in the Dark. Well I had to pay the owner of the Car to fix the Damage on the front light of his Car without any show of concern or support from the Management of the restaurant. I accept full responsibility for the damage but I had hoped to see some level of concern or empathy from the Management seeing that they have a poor-lighted parking area and they have a Drunk as security. I did not even get a sorry from the management/staff. Why isn’t there a “Non-smoking/Drinking policy” enforced for all their staff. Totally unfair I was involved in something that could have been easily avoided if the Security guy was in a right state of mind to help me navigate the Dark Parking area. I am wondering why a restaurant would have a drunk person lead and exit people out of their service experience. Does this outfit really care about the customers or is it just all about the money? It really shows how much they care and Value the customers who...

i usually love coming to this restaurant with my family. the ambience is nice, the food is reasonably priced and it’s also delicious. however, i had the worst service ever when i came here for my moms birthday last night. the first waiter that seated us and gave us our menus never came back to check on us, and i guess he switched with his colleague to serve us. this second waiter in question kept bringing us the wrong order despite writing down our order. he literally brought the wrong thing TWICE. then the last waiter who attended to us took 15 mins to bring a bottle of water, and when i asked her to pack up the rest of my food, literally half the food was gone. i was very shocked. i kept asking where the rest of it was and she said that was all of it. for context, i ordered the pad thai (which has a large portion serving) and took about three spoons from the dish before i asked for it to be packed up, and what she brought back barely filled the small takeaway pack halfway which is quite frankly ridiculous. i can’t believe the waiters are stealing peoples meals when they’re asked to be packed up. so, if you come here and can’t finish your meal, i suggest you ask them to bring you the takeaway pack for you to pack it...

My first visit to Ikeja branch of Orchid house. I have visited their VI & Apapa branch. My family and I absolutely love visiting Orchid house for authentic Thai food. Food - They have wide variety of options in veg and non - veg. Special menu for vegetarians made me really happy(coz I am a vegetarian 🙂) . Few dishes that I absolutely recommend are - Vegetarian dishes : Tofu salad roll, spring rolls, papaya salad, mango salad, vegetable tempura, fried rice with basil, fried rice, pineapple fried rice, Pad Thai, noodles with vegetables, every tofu dish, and green curry. Service - The staffs at every branch of Orchid house are really good and friendly. They attend you in no time and even give good suggestions. Service time is very reasonable and they do not make you wait too long for your food. Atmosphere - Setting up gardens is their USP I guess. Visit any of the branch and you will see amazing greenery everywhere. Apapa branch is my personal favorite as their garden is absolutely lovely. Ikeja is new addition to the list as their outside sitting is really good. Orchid house always makes my experience good. So have fun and feast on...

It's a Thai restaurant and this was my first time trying Thai food. I had Rice noodles mixed with shrimp and chicken, then a bottle of white wine and ice cream for dessert. It was delicious, tasty and you can have it spicy or not. They brought the food on time. I thank God for that. I didn't really like the service as much. The waiters weren't that helpful. They just dropped the menu and left. I always like it when they give recommendations most especially when it's a restaurant with food that Nigerians are not used too. There are nice places to take photos. But the best seats are by the corner/wall because of the lighting. The lighting in the middle isn't too great. Had to switch seats so my friends could take photos of me. It's also not to pricey. If you want to have a meal and dessert, go there with 20k because of additional expenses like VAT. If it's just one meal depending on what you ordered, 13 to 15k would do. It's very affordable.

The ambience and customer service were nice. The restaurant is located in a garden so you can feel at home. It is family worthy. If you need somewhere to go with your family and spend decent money plus meet decent people, you are at the right place. The food is also okay, moderate sauce and very filling, we could not finish our meal in that seating, we had to take the rest home. My parents are African and eat mainly African meals, but they still can't stop talking about this Thai restaurant and the food. My only downside is that it the food took a while before getting ready. If you are very hungry, you can have snacks before coming. otherwise, you would start feeling restless after a while. My overall review is a 8.5/10 You should visit. We have Jasmine rice and the brown one (can't remember the name), mixed veggies, chicken and chips, beef sauce, duck and drinks. I didn't waste money on any.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Orchid House, a fantastic Thai restaurant located in GRA Ikeja. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the serene ambiance and beautiful greenery surrounding the restaurant. The menu was extensive and offered a wide variety of dishes, but I settled on the Gai Pad Khing Chicken and Riceberry Rice. I have to say, it was one of the best meals I have had in a while! The boneless chicken was incredibly tender and was perfectly complemented by the sweet sauce and sharp taste of spring onions. The sautéed vegetables were also well prepared and added to the overall flavor and texture of the dish. The service was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the attention to detail was evident in every aspect of my visit.
